yougov.finance bribe
It's one of these almost-too-good-to-be-true stories, but it is true. First mentioned by @Bridlington1 in the Natwest Regular Saver thread, but I reckon this deserves its own thread as it could be of interest to those who have at least 10 current, credit card and savings accounts and not everyone reads the Natwest RS…

VOTE now! Proposed take over of Virgin Money - Nationwide members should be given a vote
I'm really unhappy about Nationwide management running roughshod over their members (we the customers own the building society as it's a mutual), trying to push through a deal to buy Virgin Money. My quick take: * Nationwide management have proposed a takeover of Virgin Money * Terms of the deal have been agreed, but it is…

Bitcoin for beginners
I feel like I am late to the bitcoin party. Whenever I look at forum discussions and articles about bitcoin, a certain basic knowledge seems to be assumed. Plum free £25 for saving £500 for 6 months.
Hi all, I've just spotted this offer on the homepage. Has anybody used a similar offer in the past? So I am assuming it is working via some sort of tracker / referal…

Investing suggestions for 30/40 year olds
Two members of my family are late 30s and nearly 40s. Like me, they inherited when my father died (approx £40k to each of them) and are unaccustomed to having excess money.
