Switch ISA product within same provider
Hi All, I have a Instant Cash ISA with the nationwide that a low rate, I wanted to switch this to one of their other products such as the fixed rate ISA. However there doesn't seem to have an option to do this online so I'm assuming that's its not possible and therefore I have to switch to a different bank?

What should I do with my £3600?
I have £3600 in my ISA and will be receiving interest on it in the next few days. I was thinking of the two following options: 1) Do nothing, leave the money where it is and focus on using any spare cash to make overpayments on my mortgage. I can pay £500 a month off my mortgage without incurring a penalty. 2) Close the…

Feeling really thick about ISAs
OK, I've been saving £300 per month into my Barclays cash ISA for the last year - great :) So my fixed rate is coming to an end, and the man in the branch said "don't forget to apply for the next year's one", which I know is the best rate currently available anyway. So do I have to apply for the new Barclays ISA before…

Natwest e-ISA ID requirements
I'm interested in transferring my ISA to Natwest's e-ISA. Since I don't have any accounts with them they'll need to check my ID/address. The page about application talks about sending documents in but I'd rather not have to trust my important documents to the postal service and Natwest. Is it certain that they'll need to…

What's the best type of cash ISA for this...?
Hello I have a variable rate cash ISA that is currently offering a highly competitive 0.5%... I don't have another £3600 to deposit at the start of the new tax year so over the course of the next tax year, I will be aiming to deposit money into an ISA as the months go by. That rules out a fixed rate ISA bond where only one…

Important news for former Icesave ISA's
I was at the bank on Saturday trying to set up an ISA with the money refunded from my Icesave ISA before the April 5th deadline and was told that the date for reinstatement of these funds has been extended to October 5th. This only applies to ISA funds recovered from Icesave and you must have your certificate with you, it…

Principality Regular Saver ISA ??
According to the Indy on Saturday this will launch on Monday. Its fixed at 5% until 5th April 2010. This looks good to me for next year but I am far from an expert as I have only ever had one ISA and that was only opened a couple of weeks ago. My money is in the wrong place - where should it be?

Currently just gone past the second month so there is now £500 in there. (So I only get the…

Multiple ISA's
I have a YBS e-ISA and just opened a LTSB FR ISA with zero balance. I was going to transfer a good deal of it into the LTSB account but a local branch didn't know what to do with the transfer form. So I came away with it intending to post it. Thing is I've had second thoughts - two reasons. 1. The printed transfer form…

My first investment...
I posted on here a while back to say that I was considering buying an S&S ISA. I'm now on the cusp of doing so! But to say I'm bewildered by the range of funds available is an understatement... I've read all the arguments for and against tracker funds (mostly on here) and am still undecided. But I'm erring towards a…

Who is responsible for chasing up a missing ISA transfer cheque?
My father opened a new ISA with Marks and Spencer in February and as part of the process, completed the relevant ISA transfer form. First Direct confirm that the cheque was sent on the 23rd March. As of today, M&S haven’t received it. Who is responsible for chasing the missing cheque – hopefully not my aging father! Any…
