Get your head out of that sand!
If only I'd not buried my head in the sand for 3 years this could read 19th July 2008. Don't do it moneysavers, if there's nothing you can do to stop nosediving into more debt - Do NOT consolidate, seek help! There are other ways out! http://www.payplan.com/ http://www.cccs.co.uk/

Wasn't tempted to spend on extras knowing I would have to…

Unethical lending
I've just been having a look around and something's struck me. A couple of years ago I took out a loan with egg. The idea was to pay off an existing loan and buy furniture (I'd moved into an unfurnished flat). I then had the bright idea to pay off a credit card, and only pay off three quarters of the existing loan. The…

Using Pre-paid envelopes sent by credit card companies/banks
Hi all, I read somewhere that you can use the pre-printed and pre-paid envelopes sent to you by banks etc. to send to wherever you want by sticking a label over the address printed on already. Is this true? Are there any problems with doing this? Anyone else do this already? DDDK :money:

Not to create bad feeling, but why bother..
when it seems it would be easier to just go bankrupt. I've been reading a lot of stories on here about "how do I go bankrupt" and the like. (some not even knowing how to spell it properly) It seems some people cannot be bothered to even try to pay off their debts (I KNOW this is a minority and some people on her would…

How does an IVA affect house equity
My wife has made enquiries with a debt management company regarding dealing with our, but mostly my substantial debt (they were a private company not one recommended on here).
