You could check with the AA/RAC, or other breakdown services, I'm sure most, if not all, would be willing to quote. I've used RAC, which I suppose is not the cheapest. Cost about £65 for two weeks in Europe with a 12yr old car, as it was at the time. Seems a lot perhaps, but think of the alternative....!!http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/images/smilies/speechless-smiley-040.gif

Europ assist £59.

or ADAC which is the German equivalent of the AA/RAC, go for the ADACplus membership, 79.50euros.

I used Insurance Choice, something like £75 for European cover for a year.

Looking into this myself at the moment and noticed that Brittania Rescue include republic of Ireland cover in their standard policy, just incase you were with them anyway and maybe other companies do the same?
Eurorescue quote £32 - £42 for 2 weeks in Ireland. Referred to this company by Autoaid but don't know anything about them. Does anyone have any feedback?
