Got my Daxon heater today and a bunch of sim cards...
Before this, this week, a bunch of cat food, some indian tea bags, and even more sim cards.

I'd leave this one well alone. Got mine, email showing total to pay £0.00, then invoice for full price. I won't go into all the mail I sent to them, but just say it's like speaking to abrick wall. The ** heater has been collected today - no charge.
The really bad thing about this is when the nice courier woman delivered it I told her it was a freebie, and told her she must visit the MSE site. It was only the same courier who came to collect it!! Told her it was just a 'one off hiccup' - I hope.

I have just received an invoice for £9.99 for my "free" heater. When I rang to query this the woman I spoke to said the code was only applicable for orders of £15 or over.

me too. Had a bit of a row with lady on telephone but she would not budge. so I emailed them and got the following reply:
Dear Mrs Finn
Thank you for your email.
Can you please confirm where you got the order code for a discount from as
we have no record of this being sent to you by Daxon. The order code is only
valid on orders over £15.00 and this was not the case with your order. If
you do not wish to keep the towels, please return them in the normal manner.
The email that was sent to you was a confirmation that we had received your
order and no contract has been entered into.
Kind regards
Lesley Chandler

same here: I sent them an email and got this reply,
Thank you for your email regarding your order
Please refer to the terms and conditions of the promotion. Your order has to be worth £15 or more to qualify the offer. Kind regards

Don'tskipit: When you returned the item was it still unused in the box? Because I have opened, thrown away the packaging and used mine (wasn't very good)

Hmm. I got my invoice last week, saying £0 to pay. I set up an account with them, and have lots of Redcats catalogue accounts, so maybe that's why?
I'm happy, anyway. And I think it's a very good heater, chichsikh.

I gave mine to my mother as her one never arrived and she is delighted with it. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.

hi skintchick, I didn't order the heater. I ordered some red sweeper thing. which really is useless. Wish I had ordered the heater!

hi recived the heater after getting a letter from them saying that they would not give me a account. i did not expect the heater. got a new letter on sat saying i owed them £9.99 and pay £5 of my acount on 2nd nov and also says that my credit limit is £200. WHAT IS GOING ON ONE MINUTE NO ACOUNT CAN BE SET UP DUE TO CREDIT RATING NEXT A BILL WITH A CREDIT ALLOWANCE OF £200. THEY SENT A FAN HEATER TO MY SISTER AND A MATE AT WORK AND THEY DID NOT EVEN GET CHARGED FOR IT. THERE DELEVERY STATEMENT SAYS £9.99 -£9.99 =£0.00.
I THINK ANYONE DEALING WITH DAXON SHOULD BEWARE OF THERE DOUBLE DEALING TO CUSTOMERS.

Anyone got any tips on how to get this 9.99 removed?

I've just received an invoice for my shredder. Guess I'm gonna have to ask them to arrange collection of my "unsolicited" mail. Good job I didn't take it out of the box. :D

First Post and on my wife's account, so apologies for any mistakes.
I received my heater, and on Friday got an invoice for £22 (including £10 fine for none payment). Rang them up argued with lady asked to speak to her superviser. 30 seconds later I get the same lady back and she has wiped the £22 off my account.
I presume they have received quite a few calls about this and if you argue they will wipe your account clean.
