Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that after many, many years of buying every product on the market to tackle my oily skin, I have at least found something which I am very impressed with. That said, I had to share: Jojoba oil.
I read it online at makeupalley that many users were applying a few drops to clean skin at night before bedtime, I too purchased this oil (from Holland and Barrett, not that cheap at around £7 per bottle, but it is worth it, and lasts a very long time). I've been applying this every night before I go to bed, and in the morning just use water on my face. During a normal day I would be a shine beacon before lunch time, my makeup would be non-existent. Not so now - this stuff seems to have 'cured' me. If anything I can say my clogged pores are not so clogged, and my skin actually looks in better condition. I must add that I have stopped using any moisturiser during the day or at night. The over oiliness is under control. I had a wedding the other week where I was bridesmaid. I was shine free until I went to bed that night, and didn't have to apply any more makeup or powder the whole day through. :rotfl: joy, oh joy.
HTH some others out there,
Love Mhairi
