KAUPTHING EDGE Money transfers

When I move money between Internet banks I usually do it on a Sunday evening. I arranged to move a large sum from Kaupthing Edge last night and it said that because it was after 1pm it could not be done today the 12th May so I had no choice but to enter 13th May for the transaction to take place. On the last page of the transfer section it then said that payments made "on weekends" would take place on the first business day. The money has been taken out of my account but will not go anywhere until tomorrow.
I don't know of any other bank that works like this. I am starting to think that although their rate is the best at present I prefer to have better service.

I would have imagined that if it's left your account it's on its way to the other bank. Why don't you wait and see when it reaches the other account and then you will know?

I've had a response from them. Very polite as usual...considering how rude I can be. I do go off half cocked sometimes. Anyway, turns out the money is still earning interesting even though they did not make the transfer until today but I must say their way is unlike any other I have encountered.
