Hi there,
I'm trying to book a one-way ticket during August (London to Edinburgh) and have found that the cheap tickets all disappear after the 26th July! Normally I can get a Super Saver Advance for about £18 (with railcard) but the cheapest on offer in August is £65. I can come up with three explanations for why this is:
- They bumped the prices for the school holidays (cheeky !!!!!!s)
- All the super advance tickets are sold out (even on the latest date I can book!)
- The super advance tickets aren't on sale yet
Anyone shed any light? I want to book the 13th August which aren't on sale yet, so if its a case of them selling out I can always get in there as soon as they're available. Likewise if they haven't even gone on sale yet, but I'm guessing its a summer price hike thats buried in the Ts&Cs somewhere.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
Rory
