I went with Green flag the last two years. I just got my renewal with them including a no callout discount recovery plus, home and long distance. The renewal for 1.6 Ford Focus 2000 was £90 but online for a new policy its £72 plus £20 Quidco making it £52
Any better deals I need the at home more as I mainly drive around town and the local area.

That's if you get the £20 cashback via Quidco - took out Green Flag policy last October via Quidco - still waiting for the £20 (and that's after Quidco telling me it's all sorted (I don't think so!!))

RAC cover via tesco clubcard deals. Lots of options including home, roadside, recovery, onward travel, just you, joint or family.
I've used them for the last 5 years. Never had any problems. You can convert your clubcard vouchers on line and the forms usually arrive within a week.

I did get cashback last year from Quidco
They seem to give new customers beter deal than old, even when I haven't claimed from them in 2 years since using them
