we run a old polo with thr rubbered in front screen, its started to leak a tiny bit in the bottom corner of the screen

i dont have glass insurance and dont really want to pay out for a new screen (old one is chipped so prob crack if i take it out)

so anyway...id like to try and seal it up to prolong the life of the car best i can , would the non hardening screen sealer be the best for the job? im guessing it might have a tiny rust hole under the rubber as the seal looks fine

any ideas??

and i will keep an eye out for a cheap screen and then have it out and repair the frame

use the 'flexible' bathroom sealant that dries clear and apply thinly to the area using 2/3 coats allowing each coat to dry

You can also try COMMA SEEK 'N' SEAL. It's a clear fluid that can be squirted into small gaps and behind seals. It was around £3 last time I got some and comes in a small green and black tin with a plastic nozzle on the top. i think Halfords still stock it.

This is what I did to my leaking sunroof, but I bodged it and just squirted it along the gap and then flattened it in with an old debit card, looks shocking but keeps the rain out :D
