My Dads got a problem with his electric window (drivers side) and needs to replace the electric window regulator. Anybody know the cheapest place to get one. Its a 2001 Renault Clio.

Thanx

Put a post out on www.nationalbreakers.com (http://www.nationalbreakers.com) giving details of what you want. Lots of breakers are registered with them and if they have the part, they will email you with prices etc.

For new parts try www.gsfcarparts.com who are German Swedish and French Car Parts. They have branches in many towns and also offer an internet postal service. On Renault they havesaved me 50% on makers prices.

if it's something from a scrap yard your after try www.find-a-part.co.uk - they will email a aprts request to a large number of yards who will call you if they have the part.

for new stuff you can try GSF as already mentioned or alternatively you can try www.eurocarparts.co.uk

Cheers for the GFS info Maclean2.
Dad has managed to get the part for £78. Just under 50% of what Renault quoted. Luckily we have a branch close to us...so saves postage too! :D

try this website, www.eurocarparts.com
they are an online store that also have branches all over the UK
seem to be one of the cheapest along with 'german and swedish motor parts', when it comes to european cars!
