Hiya
Is anyone here a member of Amida in Beckenham? It is a really nice, posh gym, spa, health club etc. But it's £75 a month. If I am the partner of a member it's only £54. Is it just me that feels that this is a bit unfair on single people? After all the £54 smug marrieds take up just as much room in the gym / pool as single people.
So, is anyone a member I could pair up with? I could pretend to be your partner (unless you are a particularly tasty male aged 28-35, in which case we could do it for real). We could split the difference.
Any thoughts?

To be honest, I think it's always a good idea to partner up with someone to go to the gym, so you can chivvy each other along. Regardless of whether or not you get any discounts for it.

Although you see other people at the gym, it can be a very lonely experience if you're going on your own. Especially as it's so tempting to compare your performance to the people around you. You're likely to become demotivated and stop going after a while, thereby wasting your money. Going with friends totally makes sense.
