Weight gain after sterilisation

Is it just me who has gained weight after being sterilised? I must have put on 18lbs :eek: since my op (nearly 3 years) - I'm not proud of myself at all :mad: .
It's a problem I really must address, but wondered if I was alone?
Or have I just reached that "stage" in my life when I'm going to have to watch every mouthful I eat :eek: :eek: :eek:

I haven't noticed any weight gain, but then again I only had op just before xmas...It might be the fact that I stay away from the scales just incase.

I don't need to get on the scales, all my clothes have gotten tight :o :eek:

When I was "done" last year I was actually on the Cambridge Diet. I think I only gained 1lb but had gained 3" on my belly. I think it takes a while for things to settle down with the swelling and the gas they use in your abdomen, takes a while to dispurse. It took me a few weeks after to lose those inches

AArrgghh! I've just arranged an appointment to discuss sterilisation, I don't fancy gaining weight or being bloated with gas for weeks!!! HAs this worked out for you guys in the end?
