M R I Head scan

Just wondered if anyone has had an M R I Scan done on their head. If so do you know if you are allowed to wear foundation blusher or lipstick. I know that eye make-up is not allowed. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is not something I remember from my scans at all, so really your best bet would be to phone the scannery where you are booked in and ask them.

hi,
i had one in coventry last week - the only thing i had to take off was my necklace
unfortunately it was via A&E straight away,so i didn't have an appointment or anything. I wasn't asked to take off any make up so maybe it is more of a "they'd prefer it if you didn't wear any" rather than an essential?
All the best - it is rather noisy and your movement is limited, but they give you ear plugs and pad your head to make it as easy as possible.
I actually fell asleep during it (strange i know!) so they had to do it again!!
