this has been around for at least four years that i now of(thats how old my eldest is).
you do not get any wipes just the case which is very functional and practical and a good size and durable and extra special for being free.
you can also get the potty training packs ( loads of stickers) and if you ask they will send you a sample or two of nappies so that you can try for size.
pampers gets the thumbs up from me for free stuff (even though i us cloth) :-* ;) :) ::)

It is one of the answers to a "frequently asked question" but other than that I don't think so.
Thanks, just ordered mine ;D

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'm finding that with one or two children we got by. Now with our third child the budget gets a little stretched. These solutions/suggestions are ideal.
If I'd known all this stuff four years ago, when our first child was born, we'd be in much better position today. I noticed on the Pampers site that friends/reletives can sign up too - so I've asked some of mine to do so.
Thanks again.

Have you noticed one of the most frequent things on this board is "I wish I had found this earlier" or "Im so glad I found this site"?

It's bizzare but in some ways all the knowledge shared at this site makes me feel slightly inadequate. I mean, I'm a professional man, thirty six years old and until I came here and started reading, I had no real idea how to run my financial affairs.
I'm bowled over by the number of people who are willing to devote their time to help others improve their situation.
Finding your post set me thinking and prompted me to drag my backside into Boots today and sign up for their card and babyclub. Whilst I was in Sainsbury's, I saw a two for one offer on baby wipes and bought a load of those!
What's happening to me? It's like I'm onboard a runaway train!

Haha the money saving fever kicks in. I feel very lucky, I'm almost 19 and have gone through a couple of spells where I needed to borrow money from my family which is a horrible feeling. Now I've got all the great tips on here I need and I even give my boss tips on how to save money!!

Register with Pampers to recieve £4's worth of coupons, free booklets and timely insights about your baby as well as lots of hints and tips online, pregnancy calender and the chance to share your views and opinions with other parents!
Pampers also send out more vouchers at regular intervals to coincide with your babys age as well as occasionally sending you free samples of their nappies too!
It is also a good idea to regularly keep an eye on the site for any extra offers and promotions they may be running!
They also have lots of great competitions to enter too!
You can also call Pampers on freephone 0800 515118 to get yourself a pampers travel wipes plastic case!
Also top tip! I recently emailed pampers asking which baby wipes they would reccommend for my daughters sensitive skin. They sent me an email back giving me a few tips on how to reduce the risk of nappy rash, and said that they would send me full details through the post. When it arrived last week it was packed full of helpful info, 4 pampers pull ups postcards, and a £5 pampers voucher for me to use against any of the pampers range!
their email address is ukpampers.im@pg.com
if you call 08003283281
and say that the nappies that u r using r leaking they will send u out a voucher which will range between £5 and £7
they will ask how old ur baby is, what nappies u r using, how much ur baby weighs, and for the number on one of the nappies for anyone that wants to do this.
u can say that they are
Pampers Baby Dry
Midi 9-20lbs
and the number on the nappy is 51594522071345
Hope that helps someone :D

I sent Pampers and e-mail after getting a pack of nappies where the tabs kept coming off. They asked me to send one back to them and gave me £15 in vouchers. Don't know if I would actually lie about it though!

I'm not entirely sure these are organic as if they were they would shout it from the rooftops! They are unbleached though, which I suppose is better than Pampers etc.
For real organic nappies try these! http://www.spiritofnature.co.uk/acatalog/sect7302.html Give them a go, they really are easy to use (or old lazybones here would never have done it! And yes I work too! And the nursery uses them!) and Martin recommends them to save money! And some councils even offer freebies! Completely within the money saving ethos!

just looked up this post as it's the only thing that came up under a 'daz' search, though I know there's alot of them out there somewhere, but I got a scent sample sent through this morning and there is no voucher, but there is also no voucher mentioned on the website? Is a voucher supposed to arrive with it?

yeah
daz scent card i think its under. i got one and it had a £1 coupon. My mum went to the shop and got some daz for £1.98, so she ended up getting the washing up powder for 98p :D
maybe that is why they don't give them out anymore, maybe it was costing them too much money :)

Perhaps this is where people are going wrong. Perhaps you need your baby to request them. :rotfl: LOL I can just imagine all the babies trying to get free nappies. :rotfl: My 18mth old already thinks the phone is hers.
No offensence ment to dcasey but it made me laugh.

Thanks for this. I rang about the coupon, and despite my 10 month old happily babbling in the background, there was no mention of the nappies.
So I rang back and just asked if there were any samples at the mo, lovely lady said yes, the new pampers flex, and what size did i want.
She said she'd sent size 4 and 4+! If you aren't getting anywhere, just ask.
Thanks OP.

27-09-2006, 6:47 PM
Lol! I phoned up with a different 'query' and also mentioned that 'a friend of mine has been sent some pampers samples, and is it is possible for me to try some' and the woman told me that it was only being offered to certain people who ring up, as they are wanting to get new customers for pampers. I said that I usually use huggies (which is true as I get them at boots, but like pampers more) and she said that she couldn't send me any out, and that she'd put me through to bounty to see if they had any samples. Then she cut me off. I phoned back up, got through to bounty, and then they didn't have a clue what I was on about. Never mind!
