I have just signed up to this, and it does appear to do what it says on the tin. So, for all you techies (myself included!!!), here is the blurb I got....

Apparently, the course that is in my e-learning folder is valid until 12th October !

I was able to register and get the course added to my library ok - how do you get any other courses ?

It looks like they do more than just this one course FOC at the minute.

Click here (https://www.microsoftelearning.com/catalog/default.aspx) to see whats on offer. Admittedly, some of them are chargeable, but there are some on there that are free !

Maybe mods could change the title of this thread to "Free ASP and other courses from Microsoft" or something like that ??

Thanks, I think I added the course and did the assesment for ASP.NET just to see if it was worth me undertaking it.... As I only have small brain power for Pascal and Visual Basic, I didnt think I'd fair well, I didnt, lol, I got 28% so I have decided to give it a miss, but thank you anyway. I'll stick to what I know best, everything else lol

Its the same code that I got in my MCP email newsletter, so chances are it will work for everyone without any problems what-so-ever. I didn't even think of posting it on here, so good thinking of you to do that :)

Yeah, there are loads of good courses available :)

Has anyone actually downloaded this to work on offline? Is that an option - only asking because I signed up ages ago but have been so busy at work that I haven't had time to spend on it and I don't want it expiring on me..

I've downloaded the content to work on it offline, but I think the expiry date still stands - you have to complete the course by a certain date. However, having it offline seemed a good thing, so I did it anyway ;-)

Do you get a certificate at the end / anything to 'show for it' ??

Thanks

How did you download it please Munki?

I am not worried about getting the certificate - I just want to use the course to learn when i get a break from my current web work (whenever that may be) so as long as it doesn' jsut stop working on 12th October I will be ok!
