Thanks for posting this. I've just got a letter from D & A, telling me my eye test is due, and I can have one 1/2 price, but obviously a free one would be better.
How do you get the free one, and is it available at all branches.

Where do I get the voucher for the free eye test. I heard you get it from the Saga magazine but is there any where else that's easy to get ?

Does the 1/2 price on glasses apply to the complete price e.g. lenses, frames, coatings etc or do they exclude things.
What is there contact lenses by post scheme like.
Does it work for people who are "occasional wearers" i.e. so you have to sign up for a fixed number of lenese or can you order when needed.
How long are you tied in for before you can cancel.
Any advice appreciated.
I need both glasses and lenses soon.
I am not totally convinced about buying glasses outside of the UK. I am sure many people have succes but I have astigmatism and use my glasses all the time so I'm a bit cautious.

Hi all! I'm new to this forum but I must say this is a great place to find good deals...hehe
Just wanted to ask about the free one month trial for the contact lenses...does it tie u to a minimum period? Do u have to sugn up for direct debit and then cancel after the period expires if u no longer wish to continue? Just wondering how it worked...
cheers

CLBP is very expensive IMHO, and it involves signing up for a regular supply of lenses. If you want ad hoc supplies, it would be FAR cheaper to pay for a contact lens check once a year, and to order lenses online for around 1/3 of the monthly CLBP cost.
Ive searched hi & lo but cant see this voucher on the DandA.co.uk website, maybe my eyesights worse than I thought
can someone please point me in the right direction or pm me a voucher ?
Thanks in advance

Asda have started doing them on their website very cheaply.
