What do you suppose that means? (I'm definitely not pregnant!)

I'm not eating them all day long, but there isn't a day passes when I don't have some. I'm a bit worried about the salt intake actually, do you think they're doing me any harm?

Could be that they are giving you some vitamin or mineral that your body needs, hence the craving. Twiglets are like marmite on a knobbly stick, aren't they? I hate marmite but love twiglets. If you like marmite (or similar) though you could try if switching to that helps ease the craving?

You never know, maybe I'm lacking one of the B vitamins ( I can't bear the smell of B vit tablets but love Vegemite and twiglets  ) They smell similar.

Marmite is too salty for me.

It could be that you're craving the salt intake? DH sometimes sweats A LOT (sorry if that is TMI) so comes home thirsty and craving salted peanuts. He's not pregnant either :rotfl:

It could be the MSG in them, (I think twiglets have MSG anyway!) MSG is mildly addictive.

Nah!

wholewheat meal (77%), flavouring (yeast extract, vegetable extract), spice
extracts (contains celery seeds), niacin (riboflavin), vegetable oil, salt, dried cheese  , white pepper.

Oh well, better than smoking I suppose (haven't done that for years tho)

Isn't there a Mr. Bean episode where he makes twiglets by getting twigs and dipping them in marmite? Would save you a bit of money anyway....

I'd sooner have a Winalot muncher as a patient that a Polo or Cola addict!!!

Point taken Toothsmith - there's no sugar in twiglets so maybe I won't come to too much harm (I only have a handful a day at most anyway, I have been eating them most days for a while tho  ).

I'm afraid i put winalot on a par with pork scratchings = a complete no go area.

Lol, my dog is completely addicted to twiglets. Every time we have some, he's sitting beside you...

I could eat them for Scotland too, though...must go into Poundland and see if there's any left...

Mine is like that with breakfast cereal! I'm off to Poundland on Friday, hope they have some left.....

There can't be just me, at Christmas they do cheeselets and twiglets in big drums, there's loads reduced at Asda and Tesco of the cheeselets but not a drum of twiglets in sight!

Hopefully all the Poundland shops will be the same countrywide - then I can really "fill my boots"! Thanks for that  .

I've just ate about half a bag (well I say ate, the dog sat and looked from me to the twiglets to the Baileys and back again until he got some of each)
