Hi All,
Just brought a Zafira (54 plate) but have a few questions which I hope someone can help with:
1) Need to buy a boot load cover (which did not come with the car!?!?) - any idea where and how much?
2) Could not find the radiator filling point to see if its full and to add anti-freeze, its also not in the manual, can someone help
3) The bonnet has a 2 inch scratch one end looks to be deep and shows the first signs of rust, what can I do to prevent rust and to make it look better?
Thanks

1) boot load covers normally available on ebay
2)not sure, follow the pipes from the rad(top) and see if it comes to a top up reservoir
3)you can get a scratch repair kit from places like Halfords that will disguise the scratch and stop any further rust

I would recommend getting a professional on the scratch if you care about the look, and also the rust. You can cover up rust, but if it's not done properly in time the paint will start to bubble on top of it. Being 2 inches long and only a scratch, hopefully it shouldn't cost the earth.

1. The load covers are usually high wear items and sell for quite a high price. If you want a genuine new one try lmf, ask for Steve Crook for a good price http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/home.php. Another source would be a scrpayard if you can track one down which hasnt already been stripped - but they are less likely to know the cost and you may end up with one the wrong shade (its either charcoal or a lighter grey if I recall. Try Sniffydog - sometimes I have had cracking results from that.
2. The filler, depends on the engine type a bit but from memory (I'm more familiar with Astras) it should be to the right of the engine, http://www.hyweb.de/images/zafira2.jpg. That should be the expansion tank.
I've got a Haynes manual somewhere if desperate.
3. If you are getting rust showing attempt a 'proper' valet company (not an old garage with a pressure washedr and a bucket - one with a porter cable and extensive treatment systems) and also a scratch repair mobile servce, see if they can deal with it.
