apparently if you send an email stating you would like some samples, they will send a load. say youve been using their website or seen their catalogues a few times and are interested in buying their products but would like to sample first.

i've had some before, but when i requested some of a new product, they said they wern't doing it for a while, as lots of people had started doing it,. you'll just have to see how you get on.

what a fantastic result!

I got 5 each of :

3 different aftershave samples
1 perfume sample
3 different cremes/mosturisers
2 foundations

plus 2 mini lipsticks and another 3 lipstick samples ( have to use a lip brush for them)

and a result for avon cos dh loves one of the samples so they will be getting an order :D

I would never ever have normally done this so thank you amacken :D

5 sachets - Avon Solutions Multi-Boost (Daily Vitamin Moisturising Cream, SPF15)

Quite a good wee package of freebies!

I wonder if I got the 20 sachets because I gave them a sob story about having such sensitive skin that it costs me a bomb replacing items that irritate my skin after a few uses? Might be worth remembering to make your request plausible. in order to receive more goodies.

Hm - i got 5 sachets of cream Anew Ultimate - no idea what part of the body this is for
plus 5 mini blue perfume
plus 5 beyond colour foundation( obviously called that cos it is orange!)
plus a lippy

i sent a email asking for some samples "as very intersted in them seen books etc etc" last week this morning a envolope with a catalog came through my door 2 miniutes later a avon rep was at my door to talk to me about becoming a rep myself as i'd shown interest in them!!!! i only wanted some samples!!! :-[
i told her that i would think about it but hadn't actualy asked about becoming a rep ohh dear me what happened there! ???

I tend to buy my suncream stuff from Avon in the winter when it is reduced and BOGOF, makes it a good buy then.

Seeing as 4757 people had read this post, whats the chances of Avon actually sending me any?!!!!

Especially as I already use my local Avon rep regularly making sure I buy when there are special offers on only of course ;D ;D

As they have had a run of special offers recently I currently have 7 bottles of my face wash (BOGOF) and 5 bottles of my moisturiser (5 for £5 instead of £4.50 each) which should last me over 6 months :o :o :o

I emailed Avon last week and said that I had been looking at the Anew range on their website and as I have sensitive skin could I please try some samples before buying.

They didn't email me back but today I received 20 sachets of assorted cleansers and moisturisers from them!
Was a nice surprise :D

My Mum has been buying their products for years (and keeps them in business I think) as now all her friends and workmates buy it too! ;)
They must be good products as my Mum is 49 and looks extremely young for her age.

I really think the best thing is to tell them how sensitive your skin is and that you want to try before buying the full size product from them.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I emailed a few weeks ago asking for some samples (convincingly going into detail about the kind of things I was looking for). Got a reply that said we'll send you a catalogue and if there's anything you want to try get back to us and we'll think about it. The catalogue arrived with a covering letter that said they had included 'a' sample for me to try but there was nothing there. Not fair. :(

I got 25 sachets from Avon about 2 weeks ago by saying I had sensitive skin and would like to try before I buy.
Lots of cosmetic companies will send you samples if you email them and ask nicely. This is an example of what I usually write...
