Get your mitts on a free pair of gardening gloves.
The Jersey Mini-grip gloves are a breathable cotton multi purpose glove, they keep your hands cool and the small PVC dots give great grip and the knitted wrist keeps out dirt and debris. Made of flexible material to suit male/female hands. There are 3 colours (pink, green and blue) but you are not guaranteed to get a specific colour.
To get yours ring
0845 357 8888 (local rate) and quote GYO/PI Gloves Offer
and leave them your name and address.
This offer comes with the July edition of 'Grow Your Own' Magazine. The operator may try to get you to subscribe to the magazine at a reduced rate but you can just say no as I did.
It is a great read by the way if you do fancy the mag and like gardening and growing fruit and veggies (even if you are an amateur like me).
Enjoy

are they leather?
I cant stand leather as the poor animal has had its throat cut to give us gloves.
please dont give me the crap that its a byproduct as if we stopped just 10% of the leather industry they would go bankrupt

It says at the top that they are jersey (usually man made) gloves.
Just phoned for mine but they could not take my call so are going to phone me back.

Mine arrived in the post this morning; has anyone else got theirs yet?
They're a teeny bit too big for my hands but they're lovely and soft inside though :)

Got mine thru yesterday, too.
Too small for my hands and in a lovely shade of RED.
Gripper palms and jersey backed. Good make.
Now at least I won't have to squirm when the missus prunes her (Deadly) roses. They cut me every time!

I've got a great tip for gardening gloves...by normal gloves from charity shops, they fit far better, wash well and when they wear out, buy another pair for 50 pence.... hope this benefits someone...

Got my gloves yesterday, a green pair. Quite comfy and medium sized -- a good freebie even if I do say so myself! Well I would as I posted it! lol

Watch out I was just caught out. The guy asked me where I saw the offer. I said on a web site, but didn't mention it was MSE. He asked was it a freebie one. I was caught unawares and didn't know what to say, so I said yes. He said they were trying to put a stop to this as the offer was only available to readers of the mag. (He knew I hadn't read the mag). So when asked, where did you here of the offer, say in the mag of course! I felt a little embaressed, so I said "If you'd like to send me some litterature about the magazine (with the free gloves of course!), then I might well be tempted to read it/buy it" Fingers crossed for the gloves!

This is not quite easy now....
brother tried this morning, and the man asked all sorts.
whats on the front page, how far have you read the mag, describe some of the content, u subscribe etc etc.
he said this was due to some posting on the website:):):)
the bottom line is he got it.

EEEEKKKK!!!!
Phoned to order a pair and the man wanted the code, which I gave, but then he said did I have the magazine in front of me because they have been getting lots of calls due to a posting on a freebie site and he wanted to be sure I actually had the magazine. I thought he was going to test me on it by asking questions about different articles!!!
Thought quickly and said I was at work calling and the magazine was at home and if he didn't believe me would he like me to phone back later from home. He said no that's fine, so hopefully he is sending me a pair.
Are we all turning into wicked, devious people?
