I'm trying to go my hair, and it at the moment it's looking so un-stylish. It's still quite short I have to say.
Any tips or advice about growing hair, styling ect... even hair growing stories.
Thanks in advance.

This is an American site, but there are a lot of us from the UK over there to. There are some fantastic 'hair growing' stories - one or two have tail bone length hair that was grown out from shaved!!

why not just go to a good hairdresser for advice? Plus until it grows a bit, there's probably not too much you can do. A good hairdresser will cut what you currently have into a style to suit and guide through the it's growing process. I think hair grows about half an inch a month.

Also I don't think there is anything you can do to make your hair grow any faster than whatever is the normal rate for you. DD2's chestnut colour hair is very thick and grows really quickly, whereas her blonde cousin's hair is really fine and grows very slowly.
Good Luck, and by this time next year you'll look like Rapunzel. :D

Hi There, You need coconut oil rubbed into roots once or twice a week, left on overnight if possible, (use an old pillowsilp). Your hair will shine and grow quickly. I did this years ago to slacken off a bad perm, and noticed my hair grew faster.Hope it helps

I once went to the hairdressers and asked for a 6-month haircut - I told him that I would not be able to afford to visit the hairdressers for 6 months, so I needed something that would grow out in a reasonable way and would not need re-styling!
This caused huge amusement in the salon, but he did it - I ended up aith a short style which grew out perfectly over the 6 months and still looked stylish at the end of the period - although with rather a lot of split ends by then.
So it is possible to do this if you ask a good hairdresser - definitely worth a try!

have regular head massages. as it stimulates the blood and the hair will grow quicker. i did a course in indian head massage. even make a nite in of it. a few drinks and nibbles. a few friends sitting in a row, massaging each others head a great laugh..........

If you have a hairdresser you know and trust tell them that you plan to grow your hair out. They should then trim it accordingly. Also it's important to still have regular cuts as your hair will keep in good condition as it grows longer :D

I always wanted long hair but like you are now got fed up of that inbetween stage and then I'd get it cut. Then I moved where I live now and have never found a hairdresser I liked (to pay what they charge) or have the time and lo and behold I've got long hair. I love it and from having dead straight hair I've developed a natural curl  .
What about getting some nice slides or clips and experimenting with those (never been any good at this myself) other people seem to look funky or cute with these on shorter hair, think Claires accessories do some nice things. Also maybe trying a few different products to give you a change.
But be strong and stick at it and hey your gorgeous whatever your hair looks like it.;)
