I was wandering around some afro-carribean type shops with my friend whowas looking to buy some synthetic hair when I spotted a cosmetics brand called 'Sleek'. The eyeshadow colours were lovely and intense and sparkly - I found an eyeshadow compact containing twelve different eyeshadows, from sparkly golds and bronzes to peacock blues, purples and greens. This is in a black compact case with a mirror in the lid and an applicator.
As it was only £3.99 I couldnt really resist it, and I am really impressed by the quality of the shadows. They have a lot of pigment, so the colours are bold and true, they are soft and smooth to apply and lovely and sparkly on! I think they are comparable to high end expensive shadows (not that I have owned many of these tho!). Although the colours are bold they are soft and easy to blend so they can be applied either subtly or more dramatic! Also the colours stay put well too! I have found lots of eye shadows are very wishy washy and dont really look that good on.
I have had several complitments on my eye make up since I have been using these and am really impressed, so though I would post on here. I believe that the brand is aimed at black and mixed race ladies, but I am white (and very pasty!) but the colours work really well for me, so they are well worth keeping your eyes out for. I am thinking of getting some for friends for christmas, but thought I would let all you mse'rs know too!
