Hi.I have found that a common ailment I have sufferred with for years responds well to a treatment that I turned to in desperation.I have read many people suffer with this and that there is no cure.I experimented and it seems to work well for me.Obviously I would be interested in sharing or perhaps selling my idea but I haven't got money for a patent and maybe for me,it is all just luck and doesn't work for anyone else.My question is,what do I do?How can I possibly help other people, but also protect an idea that may be worth something ?Thanks. If anyone can offer me any insight,I'd appreciate it.

To sell anything for medical purposes with any kind of credibility requires endless clinical research, and really could not be done by an individual.

You would need to approach a big pharmaceutical company, or someone like Boots, however I would not expect to make a great deal from it.

Ok thanks.I was thinking it might be something like that. However the treatment I use is not something that hasn,t already been tested,as it is alreay available to buy but it is something that I now use that responds well to this particular ailment. Thanks anyway for your input.

Even if it is already available, it would need to be licensed for a new use. This is where the cost, testing, research etc comes into it. Sorry x

Even substances that do have a proven research base to support their use in cancer reduction will not get the research necessary to support that use (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20071025.wvitamin25/BNStory/specialScienceandHealth/home) if there is no profit in it for the drug manufacturers.
