ok u can tell by the title i am not much of a hair and beauty person but i am after a hair thingy... maybe a tong or curler or something like that??

i have VERY straight, VERY fine hair which is ok cos i am used to it now but have recently had it cut into a bob which is slightlyt longer at the front and wondered about getting something to try and turn the ends under a bit... yes i know i can do it with a hairdryer but my hair is the same whether its blow dried or not so i usually leave it to try

so what is the thingy that i want??....its for occasional turning under use and maybe not to big so i could take it on holiday if i want?

anyone got any ideas ... not to expensive ones pls

thanks

My hair never does what I ask it to do EVER. :o

When I had a bob I used to dry it using a round brush then finish off with a wide tong, something like this

http://www.argos.co.uk Toni & Guy big tong thingy (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4415732/Trail/searchtext%3ETONG.htm)

I still use it now even though my hair is much longer just to neaten the ends after blow drying.

I have a bob which is longer at the front and am not very good at blow drying.I have bought the new babyliss brush it dries your hair and straightens at the same time leaving it with lots of volume and you flick the end under and it looks great, I think its just what you are looking for.

If your hair is very very fine I think the key will be in using a decent product.

I'm guessing that a mousse will be the best to add body and bounce and then as suggested above use a heated styling brush or similar to style. (I have long thick curly hair so have the complete opposite problem!!!)

Is it a hot brush you're thinking of?

I had one as a Christmas present once, and it was brilliant for bobs.

thanks a lot a hot brush thingy sounds great......just need a recommedation of a good one.. will look at the babyliss one suggested

i cant use products cos they are too heavy for my hair and i am too lazy to blowdry it everytime with a brush (also i go to gym every other day and dont have time there)
