Thanks Seakay, that's useful to know. I was waiting ages for it to upload my image but I don't think I'll bother now. Maybe they've cottoned on / had a sharp rise in website hits.

When you first click on to the link, the picture comes on, on the right hand side of the page is a rosette, saying free click that, that then gets you the free sample ( thou i have tried 4 times and it chucks me out)! thats the chocsfree and the delievery.
it looks like your just going straght through the main page, therefore you would b ordering a proper box of chocolates and not the trial.
Hope that helps x

look peoples.
They have not expected such a large number of orders due to the fact of it being posted on here and with no dought plenty of others.
They have a limited supply per day just like the jelly bean sample offer only 100 a day, this company is only a small company! especially compared to the jelly bean people! These are high quality chocolates by the looks of it, dont forget they are free for god sake!
also with the postal strike they proberly dont want too many orders or they will be flocked with "when will mine arrive" e-mails.
be patient! free, remember the word, FREE!
I will get off me soap box now.

I've been trying for 3 weeks to get past the "order" stage, but no luck. Otherwise I'd have posted here with - what looks like - such a fab offer.
However, I have known people to get 10 or more boxes each, and yeah, I'm p*ssed off that they've managed to abuse the system when I can't even get the one box (free or otherwise! I can't get any order to go through!).

In the end, at the part where you enter your name and address, there is a question further down asking if it is for personal use or company use (or something like that). So just fill it in as usual but instead of saying its for personnal use:-
;) You are working for a company ;)
In my case Weddings/Specials Occassions ;)

just look at the number of views this thread has had. if only half that number have tried for this freebie, as well as the freebie being posted elsewhere then no wonder the site is baulking at allowing new freebies! especially if the reports are true of some people ordering multiple boxes.
Probably they have used their allocation of sample choccies and just havent updated the website to remove the freebie offer.
i dont think it is a scam they are just probably struggling with the sheer volume of interest in what could be a fantastic freebie.
even still, its a useful service to be aware of for special occassions as the choccies arent that expensive and a personal choccie is much nicer than a box of ferrero rocher!!! lol

ps.
they are not a con..... take a look at he parent company website www.ashbury.co.uk they supply chocolate products for supermarkets and.... do the gordon ramsey range!
i reckon it has expired or they just didnt expect the mass trafic of the mser's et al
Tried this at 6am and still no joy, maybe there is a problem with the website. I'll try again tomorrow morning and let you all know.

These chocolates aren't even that expensive though, if you want to try some, why not just buy them! I agree that they probably didn't expect so many people to want some and I love a freebie as much as the next person but I think complaining because you didn't get any is a bit out of order. That's just my opinion though :)

Hello,
I tried to order these chocolates and when my order failed I called the company. The lady I spoke to said that are no longer running this promotion and the site will be changed to reflect this very soon.
Well done to everyone who managed to get some of these chocs.
Great
Well done to everyone who managed to get a box, paid or otherwise.
 to anyone who got multiples of the free offer.

now thats out of order don't threaten the company just because you did not get a box of chocolates! there are a limited ammount, if your desperate enough to spend time spreading bad words about them around the net then use that time to go buy a box from a shop!
i dont think its out of order at all this is v frustrating. the offer is there but not working and it doesnt look very good for the company. poster wasnt threatening rather just stating a fact, i tried many times to order both a sample and one other box, only to be told after putting in my details that the order cannot be processed. i wouldnt order from them now as they seem very inefficient and they have gained my details and email address for free. bad company practice i say.

its not out of order to punish a companies reputation just because you didn't get a free box of chocolates?
and their system is only meant to deal with small ammounts of people, this offer has been posted on at least 10 other sites that I have seen! they are major sites like hotukdeals too! think how many people go on there!
you were offered them for free, then run out or cant cope because your texted all your mates and got their mates to come down!

i didnt say punish their reputation. i said their inefficiency put me off and i wouldnt buy from them now.thats my opinion and im entittled to it.way i see it they damaged their own reputation, they are gaining customer details and emails in this way. i dont understand your last garbled rant about texting people im afraid. anyway nuff said on the matter im sure people make up their own minds about companies based on their practice and how they deal with potential customers.

Personally I'm not annoyed that I didn't get a free box of chocs (takes a bit more than that to annoy me!) but in my opinion the offer should have been withdrawn from the site as soon as it became obvious they couldn't cope with demand, or as soon as the samples ran out. Allowing people to complete almost the entire process only to get an error at the end really isn't good practice.

The site is a triumph of style over usability (but then, so is a lot of the web).
If the offer has closed, they should say so sooner rather than just leave it for an error message at the end of an over-long and over-complicated input procedure.
This firm has still to grasp one simple fact: potential customers spend the overwhelming majority of their time online on other firms' websites.

:j Thank you so much for this posting. When I was designing my box I didn't realise that I would be getting that acual box of chocolates. I had designed it for my Grannies 90th Birthday for a bit of fun. I am so glad that I did. They arrived today by courier, well in time for her birthday. It will be so nice to give her a box of chocolates where the packaging has been designed for her.

I've been in email contact with a lovely lady called Angela at this company and they have now fixed the error they had with the ordering system jamming.
Apparently, although the P&P cost is £5.17, you can order upto 24 boxes for one P&P charge.
At less than £3 for just the standard chocs, I've placed an order for 8 personalised boxes for less than £30 including P&P.
These are a fantastic gift idea and you can have some done with something like "Merry Christmas from Dave, Suzy and Adamxx". I got sent a free box, and I can vouch for how delicious they are! They come well presented too.
Personally, I'm very impressed with the service I have received from them.
