Does anyone know? I'm trying to book a ticket for someone to travel there but not sure whether it's too far from where they live! Thanks.

eerm where from?
The stops on the way in to Glasgow (if any) will vary by route. From London, for example it looks like most stop in Hamilton.
The main bus station is Buchanan Street

most of the national express coaches will stop at hamilton bus station (15 mile south of glasgow) and terminate at buchanan street bus station (glasgow city centre) which is only a 2 minute walk from queen street station and 10 minute walk from central station where you could get a train nearer to where you want to go.
There is a "map" clicky on the coach booking website for your chosen destination/departure point but for some reason it doesn't work for me.
Anyway clicking "Can't find my destination", entering "Glasgow" shows there is only 1 stop in Glasgow, and it is the Buchanan st bus station.
