Hi everyone

If you're quick, you can download a free book called "Ten-Minute Office Workout" on http://www.portalpublishing.com. At the moment it's free to download, but this will only be for a short period and then it'll be charged at the full price. There are also other books on there, such as "Ultimate Eye Workout", "Managing Your Time" and "Buying Your First Home", which at the moment are free. All you need to do is join the site (joining is free) and then you can download as many free products as you like. There's no obligation to buy any of the priced products on the site, and your details won't be passed to any third parties. One word of warning though: if you're not using a fast internet connection, the full-colour books with photos will take a few minutes to download, but the others are quick.

By the way, it's my site I'm talking about – I used to have a link in my signature to show this but it's disappeared and I can't work out how to get it back. As you can see, I'm hopeless at technology.

Because you own it, and it is a commercial site. You are not allowed to have a link in your signature. It was probably removed by Abuse. The rules on this site mean that you are only allowed to post this link in the referrers board along with a note to say how you would gain from people using it. I would expect this thread to be deleted or moved because it is against the rules.

Hi Rex Mundi

Thanks for your reply. I certainly don't want to do anything dodgy. First of all I emailed Martin to ask if it was okay to put this up and where it should go, but didn't get a reply (I've since found out he's on holiday – and is probably too busy to read all his emails anyway, which I perfectly understand). I did see a reference to the referrers board, but couldn't for the life of me find where it is. Is it called something else? If so, I'll be happy to post this there instead. In the end I posted it here, in the hope that this is where it's supposed to go. As for my signature, I saw other people doing it, and thought that was what people do on this board. I've now looked back over them and I saw that they've been taken out too. So it looks like I was following other wrong examples.

As you saw, I did put a note in the post to say that I'm connected to the site. I'm not making anything from people downloading these books. They have been given away freely. But I certainly don't want to offend anyone, so if you or someone else wouldn't mind telling me where the referrer's board is, I'll put it on there instead.

Wow, I had to look up Japanesse anime in Google! Could I redeem myself by mentioning that I used to practise Wing Chun, Feng Sau, Kai Men, and Ch'ang Ming? Not as an expert, of course, I was very much a novice, but even so I'm sure I know more about those than I do Japanesse anime!
