Official moneysavingexpert.com insert: Sadly this offer has now closed. But well done to those who managed to get some!
Hi all,
This is my first ever post, after lurking for almost two years, so please go easy on me :o.
Found this on the Psychologies online website:
Is it all hype in a jar?
We want your help for our anti-ageing creams research. Read below to find out more and how you can become part of our tester panel.
To reveal the truth, the Psychologies Beauty Team are looking for volunteers to take part in a blind-testing survey of anti-aging creams - from the most basic to the most luxurious.
This will be one of the largest magazine surveys of its kind and we are keen for our readers to take part and share their honest feedback. Your comments may appear in the magazine when the results are published in a future edition of the magazine.
To take part we will need you to be over 30 and willing to use the allocated cream (which will be unbranded, so you don't know what it is) every day for 4 weeks. We will inform you of which cream you have been using at the close of the trial.
If you would like to be involved, then please email us, including all the following information:
Name
Age
Skin Type
Email Address
Home Address
Telephone Number
Please also let us know if you have very sensitive skin or are allergic to specific cosmetic ingredients, since there will be no labels on the jars you receive.
Subject - Beauty Research: Anti-Ageing Creams.
I did search the threads but didn't find anything so do forgive me if it has been posted before.
Also, thanks to the very many members of the forum that have been posting stuff over the years, I have benefited from loads and saved a lot of money, killed off a whole load of debt too. And yes, I have been 'thankful'. :T

Thanks for agreeing to take part in Psychologies' research on anti-ageing
creams.
We are getting very excited here in the office with the cupboard stacking up
with vials of youth.
In two weeks you can expect a suitable pot on your doorstep.
We can't wait to hear your views on whether the 'dream creams' lining our
beauty cupboard really work.
Kind Regards,
Laura

Tiby,
They replied to me within a few hours. But I applied fairly soon after the OP put the info up.
If they have had a load of applicants from here it will probably take them longer to answer I would think?!
Here's hoping that you all get on it! :D

I had a tube of cream arrive yesterday, it's in a grey tube with sticky tape all round it so you can't see what make it is! I really wanna peel the label off but know that that's against the rules!

"We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to our request for volunteers. Unfortunately we have already filled the quota for blind-testers this time but keep an eye out for future surveys - we would love you to be part of our next feature!
Thanks for your interest and I hope you enjoy reading about the findings in our February issue.
Kind Regards,
Laura"
Too late for me but thanks for the post

My cream came yesterday, and wasn't covered up too well with the tape, i know what i'm useing, and am 'praying' it works!!! i could never afford to purchase it so here's to it being worth what they charge (had i paid!!) YAY!!

Got mine today as well and it smells gorgeous. So far resisted the temptation to peek under the tape as I definitely don't recognise the packaging. I hope it's sort of mid-priced, so if it works I can afford to buy it. Imagine getting something that a cost a fortune but absolutely loving it!!

I too have this cream and agree that the smell is a bit wierd - reminds me of Coty L'aimant perfime that my aunty used to wear in the 60's!! But it is lovely cream. It is in a plain pot so I cant tell what it is.

Well - I gave my feedback (I loved this cream) and received an email back saying that it is an Australian cream that retails for £120 per pot!!! Ive got loads left and shall be using it more sparingly from now on!! Many thanks to the opening poster - I now look gorgeous and less wrinkled for the festive season. x
