I did! I don't see why people need to stuff themselves on holiday, yes relax a little but you see some people at an all-inclusive piling their plates high many times just because they think it's free.
I went for 1 week and due to the fact the pools were right in front of you and so many activites going on during the day, I was more active on holiday than in my normal day to day routine at home and although I ate a little more than usual (due to the varying foods that I just don't cook at home), I still came back slimmer and lighter than when I went!!

I thought I was being good when I went to Mexico in January but I put nearly a stone on  I was eating three meals a day, not really exercising just lying on a sun lounger and worked my way through the cocktail menu. I did try to eat/drink sensibly but had the "I've paid for it so might as well enjoy it" frame of mind so not really surprised I piled it on !!

I was on an all inclusive a few months ago and had a great time and managed to come back the same weight which I was chuffed with.
We walked loads, swam and played tennis every day (theyre real calorie burners) and did a load of activities but its the food and drink that gets you.
You have no control over how the food is made and most places load the fat, sugar and salt in their recipies. The best thing is to be sensible and to keep an eye on is your drinks. Try to stick to diet mixers, avoid lager, and watch the cocktails - the calories in those are frightening.
But I think of it this way. Part of going on holiday is to experience the local flavours, so limiting myself on what I eat sort of spoils it for me. So I make sure I enjoy myself and eat what I feel like but keep a side eye on not having too much of anything ( except vodka and diet coke - only 1pt on the weightwatcher plan :T ).
Remember you're going on holiday so theres no point depriving yourself and feeling miserable about it. Eat, drink, enjoy but be sensible (ish) and keep active and you should be ok.
Have a great time

If i was on holiday-i certainly wouldn't want to be in the gym ect! It's a holiday! If you are sensible about what you are eating, you shouldn't put any weight on but i never worry too much as i'm there to relax, enjoy myself etc and if i fancy eating naughty things then i do and worry when i come home!
Keely.
The only time I ever lost weight on holiday was when we did a cruise! Alcoholic drinks weren't included, which I guess helped somewhat!
I found that having such brilliant choices of fresh fruits and salads - all already prepared - meant I ate better than normal! OH and DS seemed to become biggest ever carnivores, I went the other way! LOL!
Just enjoy - but if you'll be somewhere hot you may not want the rich fatty stuff anyway.
