I know I can get the kids and my test done under NHS(have a cert via CTC) but do they do the NHS voucher things for glasses as well?? Not very clear on their site.

you don't need CTC, everyone under the age of 16 (or under 19 and in full time education) gets a free sight test, 1 per year for under 16s, every 2 years after that.

they will also receive a voucher (GOS3) towards the cost of their glasses if they need them, the value of the voucher depends on their prescription but i work for specsavers and i know that kids can generaly get their glasses completely free. if they have a strong prescription and you want to pay for thinner lenses it works out about £25.
