Sorry if this is the wrong place, but is anyone else struggling to log on to this website? Each time I try it says I've entered the wrong password and although I've requested a reminder nothing has come yet? My brother is having the same problems.

I haven't had money credited either. I got chosen last week to do a test for butter, and haven't received the product or the money for the initial survey. Very annoyed with Juicy Brains!

They now update accounts 11am and 11pm daily. At least they're supposed to. Emails are normally replied to in 24hrs. But right now they're not getting answered at all. That they're suddenly not paying and not communicating is a worrying combination.
I got the Juicy Brains newsletter today and there's no mention of these problems. In fact they congratulate themselves on the positive feedback they got last month...

My test product has just arrived. It is in a large cardboard box and insulated with freezer blocks to keep it cold. Worth it just to have the packing materials LOL
My log in has been fine since I joined. I had an initial hitch but managed to sort it out with an email and since writing down my password ,I have logged on no trouble.
Some of the payments are not instant I think but usually turn up in the end.
Ive just cashed in my amazon vouchers and bought OH's pressy for his birthday with them.

I just got mine too, can't believe the size of the box for a little pack of butter! Still haven't had the money for the initial survey yet though, so it makes me wonder if I'll receive the £5 for the product test they said they'd give.

The surveys are very hit and miss with Juicy - I've had one in the last two weeks but before that I was getting 4 or 5 a week for a while.
I just want to point out the monthly e-mail you get has a juicer on it and I urge you to do this one too as the prize draw is real (I won one of the £100 amazon vouchers last month ;))
They are normally quite quick about adding to your profile if you finish a juicer. One I had this morning has now been credited. HTH

I'm having login problems too. I emailed 'Cedric' who gave me the 'other' website address (without the 'bri') which made no difference: it still complains about my password (which is right). I emailed 'Cedric' back and got the same, obviously automated, generic response.. still can't log in... never mind eh.
Good luck to the rest of you. How was your butter..?

I already did check my balance!
I seem to have £20.00 too much, so I've emailed them asking them to confirm that the balance is correct. Hope it is, I seem to remember an email with a juicer about the European football so I'm hoping I won some sort of prize in that!

Omg! I logged in and it said I have a balance of £50, I thought maybe this was wrong, but I claimed amazon vouchers and the codes came through e-mail straight away and I've put them into amazon! If this is a mistake can they cancel them? :S
It was the same on my bf's account although he had £20.

I just tried it, Amazon was very slow! wonder if there's a whole bunch of mse-ers trying to cash in their juicy brains vouchers!
Seems your "new balance" is just something to do with your total past balance (if that makes sense...?) as i've just tried to cash my amazon vouchers... and it saifd i'd already used them :(
Boooo :( I was well chuffed at the thought of free books.. back to my bview reviews I guess... seems like hard work now after 5 minutes of utter excitement of free juicy vouchers!

If for some reason they have decided to give me £20, which I highly doubt, I'll claim it. Otherwise no way!

Just had the email with the new password on, logged on and I've got £41.25. Now I knoew I had under a fiver in there as I've not been doing surveys as I've been away for 4 months.

Surely that's a bit much? The people who run Juicy Brains have obviously had some problems in upgrading their site, which as resulted in incorrect reward values being attributed to members. To allow them to correct this, they had to take the site offline.
The reward vouchers weren't really ours to begin with, so I see no reason to complain for them having removed them.

At the moment our panel is being improved so we can provide a better and more efficient service for you.
Unfortunately due to a couple of technical hitches there will be a small delay in this... We are working as quickly as possible to resolve these problems so that you can carry on juicing soon! We expect to have everything working smoothly by Tuesday 22nd - but rest assured we'll drop you a line to confirm when its open.
I tried to follow the instructions in the email but the site must have crashed when I was on there.

so let me try to understand this- as juicybrains have never let me do a survey (they keep telling me I am not applicable...etc), they give you vouchers that are not really yours? how are they not yours if they gave them to you? not quite sure how it works, do they give it to you before you do the surveys?
Also, think its one thing to revamp the site, but another to have all the amazon vouchers cancelled and then not tell you- sending a mass email costs nothing, like 2 minutes of administration time to write a short note saying the vouchers are going to be cancelled, apologise, give a quick explaination, or say if they are going to be added back again when the site starts up again, and then press "send" so the many people who will have been let down.
Not quite sure I understand.

I have banked and spent £20 in good faith. Juicy is a victim of its own stupidity.
Example I was asked to do a survey on HAPPINESS for a £1 and after doing so was given a furteh £9 to spend to make me happy (anybody else have that one?)
I thought the bonus was for being one of the first to say Hi to the new site....and as I always do I convert immediatly...and on this occasion just made the difference for something I really wanted....on the flipside IS this not Kharma?
I have done many and survey has crashed near the end ...or been screened out well into the survey....and when I have complained I always get the same reply "forget it the link is broken"?????????
So a good read is now due!

There is no option for cashing in my vouchers.

I've tried on 2 different computers & it won't let me get any vouchers.
I was wondering if i'm missing a button or something?
Where it says 'Cash in your juice' is there supposed to be a button within that section to select either £10 or £5 voucher?
All i see is a Cash in your juice orange button.
When i click on that it take me to another page & it says the balance & under that voucher amount for redemption: 0

The above posts, which I found through the search box, ties in with the e-mail I have received from Juicy Brains saying that some members ended up with too much money in their account.Hardly justifies them confiscating ALL my(small) balance though. It's not my fault. I use the vouchers to buy items which then go to the charity shop where I volunteer.Does anyone know the body who regulates online auctions,in the event that I have to make a formal complaint about their conduct? Thanks.

No,I didn't get any extra money..they took ALL of the(small)amount of money which I already had in my account. They replied when I complained, with the following: 'During our upgrade of the Juicy Brains Panel the balance for a number of panelists were made higher than they should have been.We discovered this issue on 18 July and corrected the balances when the website was made live again on 22 July.'

Thats strange then as it sounds from their email that they are saying they corrected your balance and took money back so im not sure what to suggest. Have they confused your account with someone elses? Maybe someone on here will know a telephone number for them? I cashed out for an amazon voucher two days ago and luckily have had no problems or emails from them (or indeed any surveys since their website changed funnily enough  ). Hope you manage to get to the bottom of it.

i had the same problems logging into juicy brains panel for a few days. kept sending emails through the link to ask for password reset but that never arrived either.
eventually i gave up and emailed the help panel. this seems to be a bit hit and miss - about one time in 4 i got through. they did eventually send me a new password though so it's worth keeping trying.

Before that I hadn't had an email off them for months, but then I found over the last 2 years they've really slowed down and tailed off - when I started with them it seemed to be at least one a week if not more (I got loads) now - nothing :( Oh well, I've had quite a few good books out of them so can't complain, just would like it to continue - I like reading :)

I have just recieved this email from the panel (which is to be no more). Will email them to find out if there will be any more surveys but it looks doubtful.
Dear Juicy Brain,
We've come to a BIG decision
From the 10th December 2008 we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel and replacing it with a JuicyBrains Community. This is part of a larger change in direction from asking you to take standard surveys to seeking your involvement in creating new products and services for the big brands and companies we work for. (More details at the end of the letter.)
Since we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel, we wanted to ensure there was a replacement for those of you who enjoy doing standard surveys and being paid for your participation. So, we’d like to recommend a partner of ours, Ciao, who would welcome you with open arms. In addition to standard surveys they also ask their panellists for reviews of existing products and they offer incentives for both activities. If you’d like to join Ciao, just click here. (http://www.ciao-surveys.co.uk/TrafficUI/MSCUI/Page.aspx?pgtid=12&rgid=2b9850a1-8f65-498c-8ce5-60fc5d44a941&bid=53)
THE JUICYBRAINS COMMUNITY
In the coming weeks, we’ll email you with a link to join the JuicyBrains Community. This has been designed to connect big brands who need innovation with those of you who’d like to be involved in creating new ideas and services. As a community member you can select the innovation projects you’re interested in and interact with a large team including the brand team over a number of weeks to invent new ideas. Instead of paying small incentives for participation, there will be larger prizes for the best ideas as ranked by your fellow team members.
IMPORTANT. Remember we’ll be closing the Juicy Brains Panel on 10th December 2008. If, before that date, your credit balance is £5 or more, please make sure you collect your Amazon vouchers. Unfortunately we won’t be able to issue any vouchers after 10th December, so any outstanding credit balances after that date will lapse.
In the meantime, Happy Juicing!

I have £4.50 in my account too!
A few months back I reccommended two friends who went on to sign up to Juicy Brains, I never recieved my recommendation reward (about 25p each I think- just enough to get my balance to £5) a I wrote to juicy brains twice asking about this, the responded that they would look into it but never got back to me. Lots of members are appalled that they will lose money from this. You may want to look at the end of this topic (link to here) - at least you could have pledged the money members have actually earnt to charity. I think its appalling - its money we have earnt and you will have made money on. If it isn't theft, its not going to get you very good publicity is it?
Good luck in your new venture - unless I receive the £3.50 in my account - I certainly won't be joining it.

Giving to charity is a nice idea but really we've 'earned' the amounts we have left so why not allow us to cash it in? GFK give out £1 HMV vouchers for their prizes. So smaller vouchers are possible.

What's most horrific about this move is they are NOT carrying the balance over and the fact they were running £1 surveys very recently knowing very well people who did these were just !!!!ing into thin air so to speak. I can't log in, but I think I had about £4, so of course will loose that.
The joining the new venture isn't a question of whether or not the £4 will ever see me or a charity or not, its the fact that they want our ideas FOR NOTHING! The chance to win a prize? Are they mad? Well, no, they are very clever - "Let's get all those survey idiots to come up with ideas for us, then we won't have to spend (very large) amounts of money on consultants for that sort of thing, the prizes will be piffle to us, but the fools will enter things by the bucket load for the promise of a mouldy choc chip cookie or something, just so they have 'won' something, so it's quids in for us chaps - time to knock off and go down the pub do you think?"
Sorry to sound so cynical but I am so sick with companies basically getting something for nothing and everyone but the very few 'competition winners' who get a pants prize, whereas if everyone said 'no, we're not doing it unless we get a guaranteed £1 per survey or thought thank you very much, our time is worth this piddling little token from you' the consumer would win as well as the company. Grrrrr  - sorry, rant over :o

I absolutely agree, PixiePie... it is disgraceful behaviour from a so-called leading survey website. I 'only' lost £1.00, and my husband lost £1.50 in his account but there is no reason why they should have that money and not those of us who earned it. What they should have done is given us notice that as of 10th December they would no longer be operating and any money that we had in our account on that day would automatically be transferred to Amazon vouchers and then each of us would have received the full amount we are owed. It is not our fault they are ceasing their operations. And as for joining their new panel, they can forget it.

Previously had problems accessing my Juicy Brains account and realised it was the wrong web address. The correct one is http://www.juicybrainspanel.com/
and you should be able to log in. I had claim a £5 voucher last week and it didn't arrive, but by logging into my account and clicking on the "check full survey history" link it has all the voucher details.
I have £3.20 left in my account and have emailed them to ask for it to be paid back to me or that I will be contacting both trading standards and the police, as I consider it to be theft.

Part of an email that I wrote to them tonight:
It comes as a great disappointment to me to learn that you are not going to completely close out everyone's account with a FULL payment of what they EARNED. It would have been a lot easier and fairer to tell us that you would be ceasing operations on 10th December and any money left in our account on that day would automatically be changed to Amazon vouchers and sent to us. What is going to happen to the money that people earned yet cannot cash out in £5 increments? Are you going to keep THEIR money? What rewards are the people who only have £4.75 in their accounts going to get? I am sure you understand that those people put a lot of time and effort into providing a service to you and your clients and the fact they are not to be compensated seems grossly unfair. After all, it is not our fault that you are ending this panel, yet we seem to be getting penalised for it. I urge you to pay everyone exactly what they are owed as this misconduct greatly damages your carefully built up reputation and does not bode well for current Juicy Brains panel members joining your new Juicy Brains Community venture.

My e-mail I sent yesterday has been returned saying delayed, but no need to resend. Will send to Cedric also.
For those interested the e-mail I sent is:
Hi,
I thought that JuicyBrains was a good survey site.
That's no lie, it did use to be.
But, this business that if we haven't claimed a multiple of £5 before you close it is utterly ridiculous.
We earnt our money fair and square and you have a responsibility to pay us.
Would you walk in to your nice juicy brains office and work and not get paid??? No thought not. So why are you not letting us?
I will e-mail trading standards to see what they think of this also.

Just received a new survey for £1 took my account to £5.75 so have at least got an Amazon voucher
I still can't login to claim my voucher. I had £4.75 but just completed a survey to take me to £5.75. I sent an email to Cedric.
I'm quite surprised by Juicy Brains and they way it's treating some members, as I've only ever had good things to say about the company. They even credited my account with £5.00 once after I sent them a comical email when it turned out a product they wanted me to test had gone missing. The response I got from them was funny and I've always enjoyed participating in the surveys.

I'm having issues too. I have £6.75 in my Juice account and the other night I tried to log in to get my £5 voucher, but the screen wouldn't let me select the claim amount. I've sent Cedric an email but apart from 3 identical acknowledgements I haven't heard anything back. After what I've read here I don't expect to either.
I'd been growing increasingly dissatisfied with them anyway. It used to be good fun but lately every time I've been invited to do a survey, by the time I get to it (usually within 24 hours) it's either closed, or they already have their "quota" of my profile (white, middle class, South East etc etc).
I say good riddance.

If you haven't been able to claim vouchers - I suggest trying again.
It seems you can now - it might just be that they run out as everyone is claiming at the moment - and it takes a while to get more up.
Anyway I just went on and claimed mine. so assume it is working again.

I had £4.95 in my account - gutted! and luckily got a survey invite today saying it was one of the very last surveys. Luckily I was in the right profile so managed to get £1.
Anyway, I claimed my £5 a few hours ago but have not received the email yet.
I just tried logging in but its not accepting my password. When I click 'forgot password' I get the following error message "access_denied_to_netpanel.getpanelists_".
They must have stopped people logging in for the time being?
When I couldn't login I requested a password change but the email I got was blank is anyone else having that problem? I've tried about 7 times now. I'm close to throwing a tantrum!

Also the replacement surveys Ciao pay 10p for a 20 minute survey. The £3 minimum guaranteed never seems to materialise.
Perhaps we should contact the marketing managers of the brands who use these companies.

Juicy Brains are bound by the rules of the Market Research Society, who have a complaints procedure. As they have indicated that they don't intend to pay out incentives of less than £5, they are in breach of the code that governs their behaviour (as the companies they're doing research for will have paid them on the basis of giving the incentive to people who do the surveys). The online complaint form is here (http://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/complain.htm). I'd advise everyone who stands to lose any money, no matter how small, to fill out a form - won't take 5 minutes and it'll show them they can't behave like this.

You can add the amazon voucher to your account without spening it. Just look in your account area for the add gift certificate link. I do this as soon as I get the Amazon vouchers, as I get quite a few from all the different surveys I do and the emails can get lost/forgotton about over time.

I checked my account, I thought I had £4.75 but turns out I had 25p- I'd cashed in a voucher a few weeks back and forgot:rolleyes:
No doubt there's quite a few people like me who have just 25p or 50p in their account and won't bother complaining about it so juicy brains should definately be making an effort to top up accounts which are close to £5.
I'm sure some people will still mind missing out on the 25/50p (and rightfully so really) but personally, if it were possible, I would happily pass on my 25p to someone who has £4.75.
If it were £1 I might feel differently- especially as I shop in Poundland so I know just what £1 can but me!
Hope juicy do the right thing and top up everyones accounts!
