Quite a few of you on the boards are very good with a specialized subject. I know Payless is particularly hot with mortgages, and Pal is hot on pensions, but are there others out there with trades/experience in fields we can all benefit from (thats if they are willing to step forward). I very often have a question that i am either too embaressed to share on the boards for fear of looking a fool, but would share it in private.

Oh and Martin of course is God. ;)

Do you mean people with these skills offering free advice Judi or just so you know if you want to pay or they can offer a cheap rate? I think it's difficult because if someone states knowledge in a certain area they might be inundated with requests that they can't deal with or haven't got the time to.

lol ;D

Hubby has worked in flooring for 16 years, he's fitted, cleaned and sold carpets, vinyls and wood. The only thing he hasn't done is make them ;D

He probably won't come on here, but he'll answer through me. If you like.

;D ;D

Disclaimer
I will answer questions but don't expect one straight away, me n hubby do have a bit of life. Not much, I admit, but a life nonetheless.

I mean something like....

Once or twice i asked Digging Out to work out compound interest cause hes head is better than mine with figures - and i know he didnt mind.

I could go to Cathy at any time and ask her advise over moneysaving the old fashioned way.

Tim L seems to spend a lot of time on the Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes board. I take it, he knows a bit more than a novice would.

Pal was very good a few months ago when MrJudi had a letter about his pension.

I dont mean full blown consultancies for nothing, just a steer in the right direction when you havent got a clue.

.... Oh well another waste of a suggestion, but at least it keeps me out of trouble. :-[

Do you mean laminates and carpet cheaper than the brothel owner would pay, or cheaper than you would pay for use of the brothel? Not that I think you would use a brothel, S_G ;D ;D

How much is a Bavarian brothel S_G?

Fran

Fran I think you're getting confused. I don't think people in brothels lay carpets. But for the right price, they will lay on them ;D ;D ;D
