i have just got a family rail card so 2 adults and 2 children can get cheap tickets to london but after looking at the site not sure if i have been ripped of as it lookes to me that if i payed for 4 adult tickets 2 of us would go for free on the group saver option (2 travel for 4) is this right or have i miss understood the details

How have you been ripped off? Did you say that the card was going to be PURELY used for trains in the South West Trains area?

Cost using railcard £46.20

Cost of Groupsave £54.40

This is for the Super Off-Peak Travelcard for 18 Aug.

I am pretty sure railcard discounts are not permitted on groupsave tickets.

thanksmartin it just looked to me to be cheaper to get a group saver ticket as kids go for £1 so the boys could oftaked a friend, thank you i must of read it wrong
