I've been sprayed by a beauty techinican and stood there in paper pants - i knew her and i'm not sure whether that made it easier or not EEk!

I've also tried the booth one but felt very claustrophobic and swallowed a lot of tan cause i didn't realise how cold it was going to be and gasped at the wrong moment! lol

I only do tans at home now - much easier I think :)

Don't forget that the beauticians have seen it all before and are great at making you feel at ease! :D

Daughter's salon has a beautician that does the fake bake spray tan. You need to make sure you have exfoliated thoroughly the day before. No deodorant or body lotion on the day you have your tan and preferably no nail varnish.

You can wear whatever you feel happiest in, paper thongs are provided, but some customers will wear a bikini, underwear or swimming costume. These will get marked by the tan, but it should wash off, but wouldn't recommend white garments. The tan looks very dark and normally stays on overnight and is showered off the following morning, leaving a golden colour behind. The day of the tan, be careful to bring loose clothing to wear after the tan to avoid rubbing off and maybe flip flops for your feet. Again, the tan may rub off on bedding overnight, but will wash out.

Hope this helps, the spray tan is very popular in the salon and looks very natural.
