ghd's straightners crackling are they dying

hi my ghd's are crackling when i move the cable (maybe cause i dropped them). they do come on but im scared to use them incase i get a shock:eek: . are they saveable? really grudge buying a new set :(

How old are they? GHD replace them if they are less than a year old when they break.

I would be wary of a crackle too.

they are nearly 3 years. i found a guy on ebay who says he fixes them for £17 so hopefully he can? he has 1663 positive feedback at it so heres hoping!

got an email saying they are fixed and have been posted back! so £17 instead of £100 yay! will be waiting by the letterbox tomorrow morning! :)
