just stopped a neightbour from taking this down to the tip as he can't find anyone who wants it. i said if you can hold on a week, i know a couple of websites that will probably find someone who wants it rather than dumping it.

13ft fibreglass, well used but seems in good working order with no leaks.

free to first person to collect and take away. is in south Birmingham, Acocks Green to be more precise. leave message here or send me a private message.

i will update this post once its gone.

will put on freecycle if no interest on here today.

It's a shame that it's so far away as I know of someone who would love this.

It's great that you've saved it from the tip, hope you find a new owner for it.

Failing all else, offer it to the university - they are bound to have a canoe club, and will probably bite his hand off to get it!

or you could advertise it in your local paper or Friday ad & donate the money to a local charity

Hi,
We'd like to take it off you if it's still available - (and if we make sure that we are able to get it back safely), we're currently a group of students at university near and it could be useful for beginners... could we collect... perhaps tonight if you're available?
Thanks.
Matt

If Matt doesn't want it for any reason our local canoe club would appreciate it.

well i have had a friend of friend who says that they want it so im going to have to give them first refusal. if they don't take it i will ring Matt, then next in line will be Fran.

will let you all know what happens. i personally would like to see Matt take it but this friend has got all excited about it after finding out its up for grabs. sorry about that if he takes it Matt.

anyway whatever happens its been saved from the tip. i hate seeing stuff go there that i know someone somewhere would want. another great use this site is proving to be.

Glad you managed to rescue it from the tip.

I'll move this thread over to 'Freebies Gone But Not Forgotten' now as the objects have found a new home. :) Let us know how you get on!
