Click --> http://192.168.0.1. It asks you to log in. User name is admin, password is password. Then click Wireless Settings on left hand side. Network key is shown on that screen.

When i try to set up the network connection on my new laptop, it asks me for a network security key ( 5 - 8 digits). This is what i need, not a password, as far as i can see.

Of course do post 8 from one of the other networked computers, or from the laptop with it connected to router with Ethernet cable.

thanks, Chippy. there are 4 key codes under 'WEP security encryption.
I'm assuming it's the first one of these, with the radio key selected.
I've not put anything in the passphrase box, so i'm hoping that key no. will work..just gonna try it out right now on my new laptop......

Yes, the one with the radio button selected is the key to use on the laptop. Also note whether it's key 1, 2, 3 or 4.
However, better to change to WPA-PSK encryption and choose a long random key as that's more secure than WEP.
