Hi,

I have tried the loreal peels that you get in boots, and they are OK, not great or fantastic. The best thing I have found is Olay age defying scrub followed by total effects night treatment, which are usually on offer in boots.
I am not a beautician, I can only say what works for me! But all that aside my grandmother is 72 and has beautiful skin for her age, and has used Olay most of her life.

Good luck with your TCA peel, let us know if it works

Sarah

Does TCA in this context stand for tricarboxylic acid?!?! As a scientist, if it does i'd be very careful - this is nasty stuff!

If I was buying something like this, i'd get it from a reputable source rather than off ebay. Boots do a No7 glycolytic peel for £8 (reduced from £16) at the moment - i haven't tried it but it gets good reports.

try skinactives.com. they have something that is very safe on there. they are scientists too and advocate safe skin care with active ingredients.
i don't work for them, i'm just a fan of their stuff!

Yip I,ve used the boots one, not a salon treatment by any means but did look fresher and felt softer. Also my granmother used what was oil of ulay and my mother ,both had really good skin, and both died in their eighties .granny died when I was about 12 I,m fifty now so it,s been a long time going has olay
