Got mine and it said to be used within 5 days of reciept , does anyone know if you lose the 2000 free text if not used by then.

I put money on but waiting to see. I put the money on about 5 days after I got.

If you look in the small print, you will see you have until 26th March to put the credit on.
The 5 day limit is a myth, a marketing ploy getting people to top-up as soon as possible. It is a little misleading, but if you think about it, there is no way they would have the time to tag every single sim with the date sent and date received. Even if they did, then they would have to take into account Royal Mail and people not being at the house the day it is received etc.

I got 2 for the girls. They spend most of their lives texting or calling people. Put the #10 on at the weekend...but waiting to find out whether the free text messages have been added to the account.

I have credited 3 sims and all have recieved the texts. Two of them got a text to say they quallified and the messages would be added, which they were after 4 days. The third recieved no confirmation text but just a text to say I had the 2005 texts. Hopefully they will catch up with everyone soon :money: Great post, :j :D to op.

I got the same email Nick. I put a tenner on the sim. I got a text saying:
"Your top-up has been successful. Your balance is now 10.00"

A day or two later I got a text saying that the 2000 texts had been credited:

"Welcome to T-Mobile. Your 2005 free text messages are now are available for use and are valid for the next 90 days".

I assume that 2005 refers to the year, and not the number of texts. But 2000/2005 who cares !
