you don't complain to this site about companies,
they just show you how to go about complaining to a company, providing a sample letter etc

this website finds the company and invites you to fill a form in which they then pass directly to the compant head office. I used this last night and it saved me the hassle of hunting the head office address out and also having to write a long letter to argue my point. I will let you know how I get on.

I have used this site to complain on a number of occaissions with some success. It takes the hassle out of complaining and it does half get a fast response from the company you are complaining about. My major success was when I complained to Boots.com through this site due to problems I had with an order they cancelled without telling me. Boots sent me a £50 gift card in response?! Thats what I call a result.

In my opinion Ikea don't pride themselves on good customer service, I have had so many reasons to complain about items and the service they provide however I, and many other people, keep returning to buy more as Ikea offers unique items that are often very well priced, I think they feel that this off-sets the poor customer care. They are notoriously hard to get in touch with and pass the buck with most probs until you feel like you don't care anymore!!

I used this site to complain about a washer dryer that I bought from Comet and broke down six times in the six months since I bought it. I first contacted Comet direct and they were happy to repair it indefinately but I wanted a refund as it was not fir for the purpose in which it was intended.
I looked at this site and it helped me make a complaint and on Saturday I got a letter from Comet to say they would collect the machine and give me a full refund. :j
So well worth a look if you have a consumer issue like that.

I used this site to help me complain about a terrible meal which me & my family had. We ended with a free meal & being treated like royalty!! :j

Thanks for this Karlagab, a good site.

No.1 rule with any complaint - tell them what you want to resolve the problem.

A site that ya'all might find to be a useful companion to complaints sites or for formulating complaint letters is: www.lawdictionaries.com . It's a convenient index of free online law dictionaries, and other useful tools, which are listed by category and accessed by convenient 'tabs'. I have found it to be a wonderfully useful reference and in my humble opinion much easier and quicker than trawling through search engines for a law dictionary suited to a particular area of specialty.

Thank you VERY much karlagab. This site could come in very handy. Got a car to complain about and any help is always accepted. Better to do it nicely and get a result , than do it wrong and put every buggrs back up.
