Hi,

I have to get my 3 series BMW serviced and MOT'd but dont want to pay the high prices of the BMW dealerships, they are simply too high and even between the dealerships there is a big price difference for the same service at times.

So I am trying to find a Independent BMW service specialist with good reputation, charges and service.

I have come across two companies:

amclondon.com and the other are prestigecarservicing.com, bot claim to be good and are quoting almost similar charges. I just wanted to know if anyone has used any of the two or know about their work and service quality.

If you know of any other good Independent BMW Service Specialist in the South East of England then please share it.

Thank you

www.bmwland.co.uk is a good starting point. Its a UK based BMW forum and someone on there will not only be ablte to tell you who is out there but also how good they are.

do a google search for bmw owners forum. that should bring back some results. then go into the most popular/relevant looking forum, and find the section about recommended garages/specialists - or post asking for recommendations. i did something similar with vw golf owners forum, found a couple of forums, and got a couple of really good recommendations from fellow golf drivers. i still get my car serviced at one of the specialists they recommended, and save at least £70 a service on the vw dealer (stealer) price. the same must apply for BMW for sure.
