Today, I have received free money off vouchers by clipping my way around the office newspaper stands. In total I have collected 20 which will be used at Tescos as money off my groceries.

Through the post today I had:

a £32 cheque from Royal Fail for losing a recorded delivery letter containing tickets, (they also lost my original claim so this was my 2nd claim for this particular item)

For Christmas I bought my relative 6 suet and peanut fairy cakes for the birds, well she opened them put 2 on the bird table and discovered live maggots on her kitchen worktops - urghhhhhhh.

Anyway, today I have received a letter from the company offering to send a pest control officer around to check for any more maggots and offering some gift vouchers as a way of an apology.

I received a huge bouquet of lillies in a lovely glass vase and a bottle of wine from an external financial advisor in my company who I have worked with for many years - now as I start a new job on Monday he sent me them as leaving present - I was surprised and delighted.

The builders are now motoring with the extension and April looks like the month of completion now ! next week the roof trusses go in !!!

Hope you all get these I had to upload a photo of one of there ramekins (that you get if you've ever had one of their puddings) being recycled in any way, I just sent a photo of a lit tealight candle in one.

I got a package left in the garage by Parcelforce today, and it contained a new and extensive survey form to fill in, together with a really large bottle of what they call 'perfume of prestige brand' (driving me mad wondering what it is, it smells quite nice on me) at least 50 mls (could be 100 mls, but can't really tell) 'in order to thank me for my trust and support', also a little chunky red pen - probably to help me fill the form in with.

If you did join the panel, that's what your mystery parcel might be.

No, I wasn't expecting it, it just turned up out of the blue!

I remember that the person who first posted about the Panel said that they send you surprise gift/s at various times during the year. I think the purpose of this gift is to encourage us to update the information they hold on our preferences by way of another very long questionnaire!

If your parcel is this perfume, and you know what kind it is, please let me know! The only markings on my bottle are a Capital G on the middle of the bottle and some letters and numbers on the bottom.

Let us know after you have collected it what it turns out to be, please!!

Oh dear, you are probably right ... when it said 'perfume of prestige brand' in the accompanying letter, I was hoping the 'G' on the bottle stood for Giorgio Armani or Dolce & Gabbana or somesuch. Though DH thought the 'G' could be for George at ASDA (very prestige, that). Still, the main thing is that it smells so nice.
