Just recieved Green and Blacks chocolate in the post

I have just recieved some Green and Blacks chocolate in the post.

Does anyone remember if this was a freebie as I cant remember now.

I was suprised at opening a package with some free chocolate in it!

it was a promotion in Eve magazine....the first 500 applicants won some miniature chocs for a friend, and as a thank you, you got 2 bars of choccy :D

i got mine yesterday, it was a lovely surprise cos i'd forgotten all about it too :j

I got the two bars wrapped in ribbon yesterday and also, a big box of miniature Green and Blacks!

I was amazed and have been wracking my brains trying to remember where it has come from, its far too good to be a freebie!

My hubby is going to be very pleased on christmas morning :D

there were a couple of magazine links to a green and blacks promotion, you sent for one for yourself, and nominated a friend/another person to receive some too...

I received 2 lovely ribbon wrapped bars of chocolate yesterday (thanks to OP), but unfortunately left them where my greedy dogs could find them. Needless to say, when I came home there was only ribbon and shredded paper left. Just a footnote, but as chocolate can be potentially fatal to dogs, please don't be careless like I was and keep all choccy well out of your doggies reach.

I know, for the past couple of weeks I have only been getting mail twice a week, when normally I get some daily, and I was surprised to be getting my mail after 2:00 yesterday. I may ring up and see what is going on as my postlady always comes early(ish) so maybe she is off sick or something.

Thanks but picked up the parcel and it was a DS game I had ordered. For some reason they'd put it in a really bulky plastic thing that mustn't have fit through. No choccies for me then, not holding out much hope now.. :(

I firmly believe they do not actually take the first 500 people to apply, but send them out randomly until 500 lots have gone, and then stop. I have noticed that OPs often post they have missed out on an offer, whereas people who have applied later succeed (myself included on occasion). It is as though the original applications are at the bottom of the barrel!

'Simple' offers seem to have it sorted - they actually say all the samples have gone once the number that are available have been applied for.

yes they come with a letter... my friend got a letter saying I had asked for them to be sent and that I would get 2 bars of chocolate which havent arrived as yet!! The miniature set looked really nice and my friend was very pleased!

Am thrilled to bits - just got home to find a box of the miniatures waiting for me - I could not believe it, I thought I had missed out on this one, especially as I did not see the thread for about four days as we were away for a long weekend. Sort of proves to me it is not the first 500 but luck of the draw amongst all the applications, as I really must have applied quite late. I know there were well over 500 views of the thread here, let alone views on other sites.

The card inside had our names hand written, and it was posted on 14th December, so it has been travelling through the Christmas post for six days - so do not give up hope, yours may be stuck in the mass of letters and packets at this time of year.

Will check later and see if the two bars arrived with my mum and dad!

i have not received mine but my mum (who i reccommended)received the small bars last sat and phoned yesterday to say she had received 2 more big bars as well.i am sure my new postman is putting my post through someone elses door as i have not got half the free stuff that my mums got and i sent off for them with mine!!!!hope the people who get my gifts are very grateful cos i dont think they will be beating my door down to return chocs,etc to me, even if its my details on the pack.
