I'm sorry, but I need to correct you there. If you get the message that your details haven't been processed, that's excatly what's happened, they've not been processed or collected. I know so as I wrote the code that does the request collection work ;)

Any submissions received via the form after we've reached the max for the day are simply dumped and not sent on for processing like the first 150 requests.

If you were not able to get a request in on any given day, please do try again as you'll manage it soon enough :) The best time if day is the morning as the counter is reset at 00:00 UTC

The best time is the top of hour. Try to pre-load and pre-fill the page before the hour changes so that you're ready to press submit when the hour ticks over. This is what other people are trying out (or so it appears from the logs) so perhaps it may work for you. 8)

Our advice is to keep trying and you'll get one sooner or later :)

Sorry to hear you've not managed to get a sample as yet, but we do accept 60 requests per hour and they do all come within seconds of the hour ticking by. You're simply not fast enough on the submit button.

With regards to who's up at 10am on a Sunday morning trying to get freebies, the answer is lots of people and not a single hour of the day passes when we don't get all 60 requests. Even in the middle of the night!

Hopefully you can see from previous posts in this discussion that others have managed to get their requests in and get their sample.

We suggest loading and prefilling the page BEFORE the top of the hour so you can be ready to hit the submit button as the hour changes.

I guess that all depends on if you think safe sex and family planning have no place being together.

If you're planning on not having a family just yet (and don't want to take pills or use other contraceptives), but have plans to have one eventually then they quite logically belong together. You swap your condoms for a pregnancy test when it's time to start the family ;)

Another thing to think about is that condoms are not 100% safe and do break from time to time (usually due to lack of lubrication). Under those circumstances it would be nice to be able to buy an inexpensive test discreetly and in confidence from a trusted supplier like Eros Shop ;)

Crisp packets are NOT a valid substitution for condoms, even if they have exciting/exotic flavours.

Always use a condom or dam (and lube) as they are the proper tools for the job. ;D

Again that would be because the places you mention are not official UK counties. Just choose the nearest one and we'll do the rest. :)

We only enforce the counties from the drop down to stop people from outside the UK from making requests and wasting everyone's time.

All valid/complete sample requests are responded to within 28 days of the submission. You should also get an automated email after submitting your information to confirm that we have received the sample request details.

If you didn't get this automated message it's most likely that there was a typo in your email address and the messsage bounced.

When automated messages are returned to us as undeliverable the corresponding request is deleted as we will be unable to contact the requester to confirm their sample request and is a waste of time trying.

Without a confirmation no sample can be sent (as per the instructions/procedure given earlier in this thread).

The only other thing to consider is that someone may have already requested a sample from your household and the missing request may well have been deleted as a duplicate although we do usually respond stating this.

However, if you would like to email us with the email address you used to submit your request we will be more than happy to investigate what's happened to it. Our contact email address is info@eros-shop.co.uk

The form was built and tested with Internet Explorer, so IE isn't really the problem here.

I suspect you've got Service Pack 2 for Windows XP installed on your computer, which makes some changes to how IE works (turns on a popup window stopper), and is most likely blocking the popup window used on that page.

The absence of the popup window is the only thing that would stop the form from submitting unless the form has been filled out incorrectly.

Hope this helps anyone else having problems with getting the form to submit.

Condoms do vary in shape and size and is purely a matter of personal taste as to which one(s) work/fit best. There will be others who claim Mates are the only brand for them etc. Our advice is if you find condoms that you like and that fit you, stick with them :)

You'll probably never see a Durex product at Eros Shop. When we asked Durex if they would supply us their rep said "We (Durex/SSL) are not interested in selling cheap condoms."
