if any one want cheap brake down cover plz plz gimmy a poast on here and i will try my best to help you out ..

rac have a offer on atm that is pritty sweet see below

end date = 28/02/07
person covered type of cover cash C/C
(single cover only) solutions 2 (roadside & at home) = 57.00 43.00
(joint) = 81.00 67.00
(family) = 119.00 105.00

(single) solutions 3 (roadside , rec & home) = 101.00 87.00
(joint) = 132.00 118.00
(family) = 172.00 158.00

(single) solutions 4 (roadside , rec , home & ot) = 133.00 119.00
(joint) = 164.00 150.00
(family) = 204.00 190.00

looks confusing but let me help the comments , roadside is the basic level of cover . if we cant fix your car you get a 10 mile tow only . but you must be 1/4 mile away from your home address , at home ... well work it out . its at home . recovery means that we will take you to your home address if you are a long way from home ( uk mainland , a 200 mile tow costs us about 400 quid so you can imagine the cost it will cost you ) . and finally onward , this means if your car went bang ( engine , gearbox ) we will get your car home and give you a replacement car ( for 3 days ) ....

brake down cover is a must ... as i said the offer will run out soon so if you want more info please reply of pm me i will help you out as best i can ...

btw ... cash = one off payment with no discount
c/c = payment with a credit card in a one lump sum or by 4 1/4 payments ( to help spread the cost) so say you want solution 3 with two people the cost is 118.00 spread one payment every 1/4 it would cost you 29.50 a 1/4 ....

hope i can help

Why would you use the RAC or AA when you can find the same cover for about a third of the price on this forum.

Shame you got such a poor reception but maybe your offer isnt a lot better than the RAC guys that pounce on you outside supermarkets.
I do however have RAC cover and the family policy IS a very good offer. with 5 adult car drivers in the house knowing we are all covered regardless of which car we are driving is great. This year we had to call them out 5 times to a intermittent fault with my daughters car and still they offered us a loyal customer discount on the renewal.
Maybe you should look for a different area on the site to post your offer to get a better reception

OR - do what I just did - existing RAC member; when you do you car insurance search each year www.confused.com - was a great starter. RAC was the cheapest (yes all t&c were the same), then say to them on the phone I am existing RAC member etc... what "deal" can you do for me on breakdown, take it out with them then cancel the RAC memebrship (separate co) I ended up saving about £45 on the breakdown and £200 on the car renewal compared with direct line..

So ask - banter - bargain do the internet search then phone them and banter it worked or me!

My apologies if thats all you're trying to do but too many people try to take advantage by using this website by posting very simialr post so you can perhaps appreciate the criticism.
