Just picked up my emma's diary bag from boots containing free samples of fruit flakes, hipp organic, baby rice and other goodies.

Best bit in it was a voucher to pass to a friend for another emma's diary bag. Surely you could keep returning for your freebies until boots run out of bags!

Here's the link to get the first voucher.

i've been doing this for a couple of weeks - have used 4 of the free pack leaflet thingies.. i have been putting various friends details on the form, but am a bit worried about putting my details over and over again as surely they must have some database that the info is entered into?? hmmm not sure how cheeky i feel....!

i've picked up 7 packs now :o they're not all the same but they all seem to have a hipp calendar with £1.30 in coupons, to be used off my supermarket shop :-)

i was thinking the other day perhaps it's best to just put your own details over and over again? they won't send you any more claim packs, as far as i know you only get the other packs in hospital etc. when having a baby so it doesn't matter too much if you annoy them lol! if you make up details then rainforests will be destroyed creating junk mail for people who don't exist, and your friends may not want the junk either, i think i'm going to put my own details on the next couple of cards again, assuming they find you already in the database and don't just enter you hundreds of times :-)

my son loves those fruit flakes. my packs also contain bran flakes, lindor choccies, blue clip (good for clipping all those coupons together lol!), sometimes a coffee sample, apart from the junk mail in there and the occasional breast pad you'd never know these were packs for pregnant women, the freebies aren't baby related!

I was quite lucky then I used to receive a full sized bottle of Johnsons either shampoo or bubble bath, a sample box of persil and lenor (about 4 washes in each!) fruit chewy bar and avent samples! also money off vouchers!! http://img.moneysavingexpert.com/icons/icon7.gif

Lindor chocs and full size bags of Johnsons? No fair!

All our Boots stores have been out of stock of these bags for a while now, but have just spotted in M + B mag that Emma's diary is all redesigned...maybe Boots have been getting rid of the old bags so that these new ones (hopefully with the chocs and Johnsons products) can emerge

My packs have contained Strawberries covered in yoghurt, bran flakes and lindt chocolates, in yesterdays pack was a breast pad sample.

Were trying to conceive so all the freebies and samples are going away into my "baby bump box" for when it happens.

lillibet they never send out cards from the website i've found, but your midwife should have given you an 'emma's diary' at your booking in. it has the claim card in it. didn't you get one off the midwife? i also got a baby welcome pack and a bounty pack, all from the doctors surgery or midwife.

EDIT: i got 2 claim cards, i'll send you one of them if you want to pm me your address.

awww, that's a bit rubbish! i only got so many because of the chocs and the fruit flakes (my son loves them and we don't get the yoghurt ones in our shops, just the flakes on their own and he hates those). and of course the hipp coupons that can be used off my shopping in asda, must go get another pack actually, i'm running out of vouchers lol!

When you register with Emma's Diary, they automatically send you a claim card through the post. No need to print out anything.

I've got 11 days left before I'm being induced early - never had an "Emma's Diary" from my midwife. Just signed up to the website but not sure I'm gonna get one of those claim cards in time...

can anyone who has a spare one stick one in the post to me please? I'm not worried about sticking my address on here (I'll edit the post and delete it later)

ta muchly folks, and congrats to all those expecting!

16-04-2005, 12:09 PM
i know loads of people who've applied but nobody who's ever had a card from them :-( if you're pregnant ask your midwife for 'emma's diary', it has the card inside.

angelcake

I already have a child and asked when I was pregnant with her and they said they don't do them anymore! so doubt I will get one of them this time!

jellyhead
16-04-2005, 2:36 PM
they do still do them, i got one recently. i think i had to remind her about it though. when my pregnancy was confirmed they told me to come in and pick up an antenatal pack (green notes, phone numbers, etc.) and i got a baby welcome pack then, then when the midwife came to my house for the booking in appointment she gave me a bounty pack and an emma's diary.

I use to use the Emma's Diary coupons. I started 4 years ago and kept it up for about 2 yaers. I got loads of stuff. Johnson's shampoo (4 bottles in total) boxes of persil, Lenor samples, soap, body cream, chocolates They were lovely, nappys, I could go on. The coupon address details I would make up names and addresses. Once when I went to my doctor's surgery there were loads of Emma's Diary books on a stand. I was early for my appointment so sat and took all the coupons out as I knew what a good deal they were! And as for passing a coupon to a friend well I simply passed it to myself. Lots of junk mail inside but would simply dump it in a bin as soon as I had collected it from Super Drug who were doing it at the time. My husband use to call me the Undisputed Queen of Emma's Diary!!

Hoping to get this.
got my bounty box a couple of weeks ago, and all the goodies have disappeared, the box has shrunk, and there was only a jar of pear and apple puree and a spoon, a few leaflets and that was it.

I took it home for the siblings to open, and we were all sooo disappointed

i got a bounty progress box for the woman across the road a year or so ago and it had lots of jars, and the inside of the box was printed with loads of coupons too. i'm having a baby now and was hoping i'd get the same lol!

has anyone actually had an emma's diary coupon sent out? i tried last year, i've tried for mum and my sister's addresses too but they just don't send the coupons out, when i emailed them to ask for a coupon they just said i had to ask my midwife. once you've got a coupon you can keep getting the packs using the spare coupon s inside the packs, but getting a coupon in the first place isn't easy, unless of course you are actually pregnant.

Have these got any better? had my son 2 years ago (well 2 years ago on Friday is his birthday, where has time gone??) and they were pretty dire. Bounty packs were rubbish too apart from the ones you got in hospital which were brill :D

my last bounty pack was fab, it had about a fiver's worth of vouchers that i used in asda without buying the product, the best one was olay, a handbag mirror and a £2 voucher.

but the emma's diary site won't send you a voucher for a pack, it gets posted on here regularly, everyone gets excited but they don't send you a voucher. try it. if you email them they'll say ask your midwife - you should get a book when you're pregnant containing the voucher. the pack's not bad actually - it has some yogurt fruit flakes, my son loves them and i haven't seen them in the shops. there's £1.30 in hipp coupons for using in asda or tesco. it also has a voucher to 'pass on to a pregnant friend' to claim another pack, so if you keep it and keep using them you have a constant supple of packs, so as many £1.30's off your shopping as you like - and of course the breast pads and all bran are good if you're pregnant, the chocs are yummy too :-)

I signed up for one of these vouchers months and months ago, and received one in the post from them last week. They certainly take their time getting these things out to us - I've got tadpoles everywhere now lol!

lol! i applied for one about a year ago, and so did my sister, neither of us got one. i emailed them and they told me to ask my midwife :-(

the emma's diary has been updated recently, not sure when but when my pregnancy was confirmed in november i got the old book (i think it's the same one they gave me 9 years ago when i had spud). i had an antenatal class in may and they had the new book, it's bigger and less patronising and has info about after the birth too (i haven't got that far yet though). it had a claim card too, but the pack i got didn't have a spare coupon in

And all they could do was send me loads of leaflets for other companies.

How annoying is that?!
