Will this guy ever shut up? No, because I have something to ask.

Actually that's what the issue is: I have an annoyingly soft, low and quiet voice as somehow I've learned to speak from my throat. I want to improve my speaking voice, and I want it NOW!

I'm positive I would benefit from coaching/training, as well as advice plucked off the Internet, but I haven't found anyone who doesn't want a fortune for it. So as part of my MoneySaving, I am after reasonably priced - or even free - solutions.

I don't know if a Speaking Circle would help you? Or singing lessons?

Have you thought about SINGING FOR FUN you may find there is a group near you that aren't choir type singers but people who get together just to have a sing.
Our local one is a workshop and it does have a leader but the purpose is Singing for Pleasure rather than for performance.

Singing would definitely help, but I'm not sure the world is ready for an apocalypse. I mean my singing.

Ask your gp for a referral to a Speech Therapist. They can help you to increase the volume of your voice and make it a bit more powerful. I know this because I was seeing one regularly last year because I kept losing my voice and when it returned it wasn't very loud. I was very impressed with my therapist.

I didn't know there was such a thing available - thank you. :)
