Hi,

My daughter has just had her braces off last month and was given a retainer to use at night. She has just returned from a school trip and we cannot find the retainer. I was just wondering if she has lost it I know we have to pay for a replacement but does anyone have any idea how much this might be?

Will keep looking for it but it's not looking good, the fact that it's clear plastic makes it even harder to find.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

The going rate round my way is £50.

Stop her pocket money for a while.

Suppose it depends on the orthodontist's mood though!!!

It's ok panic over, my 3yr old had hid it in her bed. She's just started working part-time so she was warned that she would have to pay for the replacement for being so careless.

I hope she's learnt to be more careful now.

Thanks Toothsmith.
