Any good?

Quoted on my 1999 V Reg Astra £60 for 3 months, then £30 a month.

personally, i'd put the money aside just in case somethign goes wrong. These warranties arent usually worth the paper they are written on. There are lot of terms and conditions and often the car must have a full history etc.

Warranty Direct are apparently one of the better ones. And I don't think you need a FSH with them, just a service within the last 12 months.

If you ask them to send it in writing, then they send you a list of everything that is covered. Also covers for wear & tear, and consequential loss (ie if your water pump goes and then results in cylinder head going, you're covered).

By the way, don't take the price on their website. Wait for them to give you a call as they can reduce the price.

Of course the other way is to put the money aside - better off if nothing happens or if your repairs for the year are less than £330.

I did a quote for these, and now receive a letter through the post for them every couple of months getting a bit cheaper each time. Ring them up and get a deal...
